I tried this case at BestBuy last Sunday and I really liked it a lot, I even like it better than the VZN silicon case but I was not willing to give them my $20. I may get the one posted from Amazon if folks feel it's the same case.

How thick is it? Thicker than the Verizon high gloss case? Doesn't seem very protective and I am worried about the camera lens.

The Seidio Innocase II looks awesome, but I wish the inside of the case had a silicone or neoprene padding.

Still waiting on Otterbox...

Or maybe Innocase + N1 sleeve

It's different. It's not as stiff as the VZN case but it has a nice thickness to it. It's not as thick as the more expensive Otterbox, but it's not too far off the more flexable Otterbox skin that sells for around $20.

I got this case from Best Buy yesterday, it was too stick and got stuck in my pocket. Not to mention all the lint and dust it collected. I plan to return it tomorrow. I picked up the silicone one made by Verizon today, I like that one much more....

Just my $.02.

The problem with this one versus the Verizon one, is that this one will be harder to get out of your pocket (it'll "stick" to the inside). I had one just like this on my BlackBerry Storm and it drove me crazy. I like the Verizon Silicone Case because it's fairly sturdy and will go in and out of your pocket easily.

Looks very nice. Kind of like the styling, myself. I'd get it if I wasn't so setting on getting a larger battery.

Ditto on this. I got a cheapy hard case from ebay in the meantime while I await the larger battery.

As to the OP, the material looks like it'll be a lint magnet, true?

I tried to show how recessed the camera is. Compared to the VZW gradient case, it is recessed a little bit more.

Another angle showing the recess...

Would you guess that I have the Seinhel crystal screen protector?

how are you likin that 7d?

the verizon silicone case is sexier. got a pattern on it, and its shinier.

It's all subjective. Personally, I think they shiny silicone cases cheapen the look of the phone. But that's just my opinion... ;)

OP, did they have that case in any other colors?

I really like the HTC one you posted. But $20 at best buy is a little bit steep...

Does Verizon have one like this in stock? I hate the glossy carbon fiber ones they have and have only heard bad things about the gradient case.

I was surprised they didn't have any like this when I went and the corporate discount would be really nice the VZW store.

I like the VZW black silicon case with the diamond pattern on the back. Nice texture, good grip and I got it for 25% off with corporate discount :)

I have to agree with you here; I thought the shiny look actually overshadowed the phone and made it look a bit cheap so I returned my VZN case. It's not a bad case though, but I'd like more of a mat or satin finish for my next case.

Not so...I opened this in the store, put it on my INC...and tested it out (all in supervison of the phone dude) by putting it in my pocket and taking it out. It slid in and out of my pocket nicely. I actually liked it slightly better than than High Gloss VZW Silicon case, but $20 + tax couldn't beat the VZW price with my 25% corp discount, so I went with the cheaper of the two.

I was browsing Best Buy earlier and saw they had a silicone case for the Incredible, then I noticed it was actually made by HTC. Cost was $20

It's a softer silicone material, not like the shiny silicone case at VZW stores. Very similar to the Otterbox silicone in their commuter case. It's not as tight as some other silicone cases so it doesn't push up on the corners of my screen protector. Overall, it's pretty thin and makes the phone feel slimmer than when I had the plastic red/black gradient case on. It does cover the volume rocker, but because the material is relatively soft, I don't find it annoying.

Anyway, I like it, and I'm pretty picky about these things. It also comes in red. Unlike the Verizon cases, these are packaged in a way that you could probably test it out in the store before you buy it. Just letting everyone know there's another option out there besides the Verizon cases.

damn i was hoping for a hard silicon. soft one are just too soft.

only thing i worry about with that cradle is the location of the tabs, its hard to say without having it in front of you, but it looks like one of the tabs will block the usb port if you lay it in landscape mode, and you cant flip it the other way, its 4.7" wide and the inc. is 4.63", so you dont really have any wiggle room to work with

other than that, i do like the way they look, hopefully im wrong and it fits becuase i would get one if it fits

Finally picked up the black/red gradient case. Fits great and looks good. I actually like the extra (albeit small) girth it adds to the phone.

ooo true, assuming of course its just a few mms and not like the other phones (eris i believe) that had a back cover that looked like it got a very nasty tumor

Yeah but that battery was a 3500mah not a 2150mah. That battery was huge, it's over 2.5 times the capacity of the stock battery.
I think the 2150 is a great trade off, plus from the other post of the guy who used the 2150 from a TP2 (just without a cover and used the silicon case to hold everything together) it looks like the phone with the new back cover will cover the camera lens barely thus protecting it a bit. I will probably go caseless once I get the extended battery.

Until then I almost always make it through the day with my TP2 battery if I don't I have my spare stock battery I can quickly pop it in, which doesn't bother me at all . Plus it's good to restart your phone everyonce in awhile

I spoke with a Verizon Tech today at the store in regards to the extended battery that is said to exist for the Incredible. He stated that it does exist but that there are some issue that have come up with the battery. For some reason the phone is not reading the charge of the battery correctly. The phone with state that the phone still has half the battery charge left but will then suddenly die. The battery and the phone aren't communicating correctly. This is the reason that the battery hasn't been released yet. He stated that they were hope to release the battery before the end of this month but once this issued appeared they put a hold on them. He said that Verizon is workinfg on the issue because they are aware of the complaints of the OEM battery life for the phone. Hope this helps. At least there not just rushing to put out some crappy battery. I will be getting it once it becomes available and the size won't bother me at all.
