Haha How did you know?

This thing is still restarting.

Don't get me wrong I love my Tour and all but somethings aren't so Incredible (sorry guys I couldn't resist).

Ha- Well, 5.0 fixed a lot of problems with my Storm...but at the same time, it created a whole bunch of new ones! I figure that you are haveing the same issues I am. Us abused BB owners have to stick together...;)

+1
The Crapberry storm has been nothing but a solid pain slow, unresponsive, and the long ass reboot is slower then watching paint dry.

I have gone through 2 of them it will be nice to get the Incredible to do some skeet shooting.

Agreed! I've tried leaked and hybrid os's- all of them have serious issues. I'm so over BB that it actually makes me sick to look at my Storm!!

I want to say something witty, but I'm speechless. NO BROADBAND? WHAT? If I could have broadband wired directly into my brain, I'd be a happy camper. I can't even imagine not having broadband.

Well I mean the verizon mobile broadband. I'm using it for my home internet but recently found out its not really designed for heavy internet useage (I only get 5Mbs) or to watch videos (netflix) I still plan on getting home internet through quest or comcast. I just cant shell out 60$ a month for slow limited internet

Nite...need to rest up and gather up my strength (and patience) for the day ahead...;)

I suggest we all get a very good night's rest. If it's any assurance there is no more info...TONIGHT. ;):D:cool::eek::rolleyes:

is this something we're supposed to read into for tomorrow? Are my dreams going to be haunted by anon's prophecies?

You can keep your Alltel voice plan, but data is different... Alltel billed data in minutes, while VZW bills in MB, etc. So you would have to add the VZW smartphone data plan with the Inc., and I think VZW tethering rules would apply, assuming the Inc supports tethering..
I had tethering from my Touch Pro on Alltel. I never removed it and I had the data package as well. I NEVER changed my package and I've got the same voice/data plan on my Moto Droid which I paid full retail for. I don't see why anything would change

I didn't stick long enough for the OS 5.0 update. I went through a total of 5 Storms until Verizon finally gave me a free Tour and then eventually they replaced that for another Tour because of trackball issues.

I love Verizon's customer service, which I think is a great reason for people to get the Incredible over the Nexus One. I'm trying the new NFL app on my Tour and just thinking how much better it will be on the Incredible.

if you're talking bout FiOS, keep it. You really won't find better service w/ comcast (hello monthly usage caps & speed caps for certain services) nor qwest. Both will run you roughly same price and really won't be any faster.

So I'm sitting there minding my own biz and VZ pushes a NFL draft app (link) to my Bberry like they did with Skype two weeks ago. Then I remember one if my earlier predictions . . . perhaps we'll get an announcement during the NFL Draft (April 22-24) and a release the following week.. It's sponsored by VZ and they push out an app the week before to get buzz . . .

Logic is sound anyway

Oh and G'night folks

Then I asked about the incredible and he told me any information I have heard about THAT phone was a lie and that no such phone exists. He told me it was for a different carrier.

Sounds to me like this jerk is trying to send VZW customers to a different carrier - at least, that's what I'd tell his manager....

As another scorned BB Storm user I can attest. In a way I'm grateful. If it wasn't for such a POS phone I would have no reason to be obsessed with this Incredible phone. I am however eager to figure out how much physical abuse the Storm will take.

There's also a "how will you destroy your BB Storm when you get the new Incredible" thread around.

Hello, Been reading this forum for about 2 weeks now. I followed the DROID the same way and I look forward to getting the Inc. QUESTION: Will I be able to pinch/pull the text on emails bigger so I don't have to use my cheater glasses?

I've never used the Storm, could it possibly be any worse than the LG Voyager. Uugghh!!! Whatever it is, I feel your pain when it comes to using a frustrating POS phone.

Hm... From what I've read and heard, changing to a VZW device means you'll be billed VZW-style for data.. I'm definitely not the resident expert on Alltel though, thank God I'm not in an area where we have to deal with a lot of that.. I'd go crazy with all the stupid rules and limitations and this and that..

Sounds like you lucked out

If you will be using a web based email, it seems the answer should be yes. It has been stated the the browser will have pinch to zoom baked in (or perhaps what was posted is that Sense UI will have it baked in - seems like so.... soooo.... sooooooooooo many pages ago..................).

Perhaps Viper, NKT, Nash or one of the others can speak of info on native apps for email.

Wow, all of that bitching about off-topic was mind-bogglingly stupid.
I know people are becoming accustomed to the government and the media pampering their every thought, but holy shit, have we lost all ability to filter information for ourselves?
On that note: goodnight.

lol thats why I don't get the NE2 upgrades in fear that one of the eye candy Verizon reps might screw up my plan.

Yes- if you log in via the browser, that will work.. The only apps that support multi-touch are the browser and Google Maps.. Unless 2.1+Sense brings along some nice, unexpected surprises...

here's hoping
