from my understanding, i could be wrong though, its you CAN take it home on sunday only at bestbuy MOBILE stores. NOT at any regular bestbuy, and there aren't many bestbuy mobile's so use that locater that was posted

Wow! I'm about to shed a tear of joy if that's true....i will definitely be taking a road trip to get that phone!!!!!

If its the case of taking one home with me Sunday I just might drive the 3 hours to go get it! I think I'll be making a couple calls tomorrow!
 
Did they release some kind of sensitivity app for android in the last few days? I've been seeing a trend in the last few days...Hmmm interesting
 
ah yes it all makes sense now! i only have to drive 1 hour 30min to my nearest bb mobile store :D definitely worth it if i can get it this sunday!!

Hi guys I just got home from work. I have only posted 2 or 3 times cause I mostly read but been waiting for Verizon to come out with something this size since the iPhone. Girlfriend has the droid and its bad ass.

I work at best buy and if you look at my couple of posts I have been dead on.

My theory unless there is a secret shipment or something I don't know about but I could be wrong here is the schedule I have been given

Pre orders start 18th.

25th we receive shipment and goes in that Sundays best buy mobile buyers guide.

Night of 25th goes on display with sign saying available 29th and will also be in 29th's best buy ad.

Sorry but don't know how we can sell it if we dont stock it till 25th. Hope this helps sorry to be the barrier of bad news

Well i was thinking they already have the phones in stock in the BB Mobile stores or might be getting them before sunday for the "pre-sale"

Not sure what BB means by pre-sale but if it's just another way of saying pre-order then why can't we just pre-order it at any bb store or online?
 
Cmon guys its finally happening! Yeah it would be cool to get it sunday but we finally have our official announcement! Preorders Sunday and we get our phones on the 29th! And I'm sure there will be more goodies to see and talk about before its released. Lets take a deep breath and enjoy it

I know this has been said many times but LETS GIVE A BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR ANON NKT AND THE REST OF THE AWESOME INFORMANTS THAT HAVE BROUGHT US TO THIS MOMENT! YOU ARE AWESOME!

yea thats what i think to..i mean they state that they are having this EXCLUSIVE DEAL that verizon and no other store will have on the 18..logic would think that they are talking about going in and buying the phone..what else could they be talking about doing that verizon itself isnt????

Verizon Pre-orders don't start until the Monday, the 19th. So they effectively would be offering something nobody else is, including Verizon, if they just start taking pre-orders on Sunday.

yea i thought about that..but why the hype for that u know..do they run out of pre orders that fast?? but like i said i will be going there tomorrow to speak wit someone in person about this whole confusion
 
i heard about people getting the droid a few days b4 it was released...maybe bbm or some other store had a deal like that with the droid and not many people knew about it or something..i dunno im just having wishful thinking but more then likely we all will be waiting till the 29
 
What U said and I've also suffered with the storm1 All these Eastcoast folks R talking road trips I guess we'll have to think flight time. Of corse road trip to LA area could work what say you? Peace out.
