Just got mine! Initial thought was I can't believe how small and light it is - very surprised by that and not a bad thing. Charging now, can't wait to fire it up.

According to BGR Verizon is sold out of the Incredible. New ones won't ship till May 4. I guess Verizon is already killing it with this phone.

OK, I think I have most things sorted out on the INC. Synced my contact list from my Blackberry Curve with Desktop Manager, exported it to a Windows CSV file and imported it into GMAIL and viola! Downloaded the Google Calendar Sync addin to Outlook, synced Outlook calendar with GMAIL calendar and Viola that is good to go also...

Now a short comparison with my 2 Year old Blackberry Curve 8330 technology and the INC. Surprisingly the Blackberry does some things better. The phone quality on the Blacberry is better, it sounds a bit less clear on the INC. Deleting multiple emails on the Blackberry is much simpler and the battery on the Curve held up much better...

Having said that, the INC is far superior and excels in about every other area.

The iPhone, HTC Incredible and the upcoming HTC EVO SuperPhones make my ACER Mini Notebook uncessary..

This is a great phone / computer / gps device / camera, etc..

I too must express my thanks at those on this forum that put themselves at harms way to get us great information about this phone. And also thanks to those for that provided entertainment along the way. I have been on this thread since page 97 and the wait is finally over.

I have had the Incredible for 1.5 days replacing my storm 1. I was surprised by it's small size in comparison, but to me it feels just right in so many ways. The OS speed and ease of use is by far the thing that I notice the most. I can actually take a picture quickly. That was not something that was possible with the BB Storm.

My only complaint is that I am running the batter down to about 10% on a long day (7am - 10pm). Can't wait to get the extended battery. The Incredible is really thin so I won't mind the added bulk.

Thanks Incredible Thread,

ice9mike

REGARDING BATTERY LIFE:

I don't have it yet , but if it is like the Droid, make sure you turn off GPS when you are not using it. BIG DIFFERENCE.

Thank you! Being a first time android owner I did not know that. I was wondering why all my battery was used.

My phone is officially on the truck and in Tacoma. I'm having it delivered to my work. Normally the FedEx guy comes around 2-3pm. Yesterday he was massively early... 9am.
Here's hoping he comes early again!

Have fun with all your Incredibles today! I'm uber excited :D

Battery life is hurting on this baby. Just playing around with it for an hour and the stock battery is really shot! Had it at 20% and now it's down to 5%! Good thing I have that Seidio extended 1750 mAh battery... Gonna leave that one to charge for the next 2+ hours.

Just wanted to says thanks to everyone on this thread. I've been following it for a long time & have always got the information first from this thread, usually more than a day before any other site knew anything. Thanks again.

I'm sitting at work waiting for FedEx and hear what seems like a delivery at the front desk... Rush up there and see a FedEx box... The receptionist and I literally have a tug o' war over the box - her clutching the box with two hands as I pull with one hand... I then realize what she knew all along... its a box full of fricking deposition transcripts... I continue to wait for the %&#*&@! FedEx guy to reappear... #%$@!!!!!

This is good. Others are only getting like 3 hours. :)
What magic did you do?

loving mine! i made sure mine was perfect (even lit menu buttons, white colored screen, no creaks rattles, etc). I set everything up now she's happily charging.

only 3 people in my store picking these up... like i told everyone, it wouldn't be anywhere near as huge a launch as the Droid or the Storm.

Either way, i'm super happy, and I bid this thread farewell!

Hey, I know you... lol

I was actually thinking about getting a hold of you for request on stickers...

Played with the phone for hours last night after charging fully for 3 hrs. Battery is a problem. I have BT and Wifi off and as you are using it you can almost see the battery gauge moving downward much like my gas gauge when driving my pickup. There's a big problem here for people away from charging sources. Everything else is perfect. It's like an Eris on steroids, fast!, no lag, and did I mention it is fast? Oh yeah, I used the cmaera to snap a pic of a color business card I had and focus was right on, it looked exactly like the orig. card.

My Fellow Incrediblians,

Well after reading the post by the admin I guess they are serious about shutting this thread down. Thank you all for sticking together through the good times(getting our Incredibles) and the bad times(March 23rd?).

I hope this bonding experience has brought us closer together in some way and I'm sure we will meet again next time a new phone as awesome as the Incredible is rumored so we can start the process over.

Sincerely,

Alex(Evolved)

Just as an FYI - I am still waiting on my Incredible, but I did play with one in a Verizon store. If you click the + sign you can add widgets right to your phone desktop to turn wifi and gps on/off. It is probably much easier than hunting through menus.

Thanks for all of the help and info that this thread gave us up until now! It has been a great experience learning about this thing before I ever got it!

See you in the forums!!!
