Her: Yes you are eligible, any phone in particular that you're interested in?

Me: I'd like to place an order for the htc incredible right away as I need a new phone.

Her: (voice tone becomes more hushed and rushed) - oh I don't see anything about that smartphone in our system

Me: I see, how long before launch do you know about a phone?

Her: Usually we know a month before, as with the droid and eris.

Me: KTHANKSBYE


It's odd that they knew about the droid way before but know nothing about the incredible days before it's anticipated release.

WOW the things I miss for going to sleep...Today is going to be an amazing day, I hope it all happens for us...I can't wait to share my enjoyment with all of you fine gentlemen...and one or two ladies...

Well, a/o 6:00AM EST testman is still down, and no other real news has come to fruition.

I'm off to work and stuck some meetings, so I'll be relegated to the occasional Tweet as my source.

Here's hoping that no one has a stroke today...
 
Almost 7am on the east coast and daylight about to break. It's officially March 23, 2010 (well, has been for almost 7 hours :o) and it's finally the day we've been waiting for, at least since MWC.

In the words of the great American shoe salesman, Al Bundy...

p.s. Seriously guys? 8 pages since 9:30pm last night? You're killing me.
 
Just a bit of Devil's Advocate here....

One thing to consider. The high comes when everyone whips themselves into a frenzy waiting for this phone.

The low comes when it is not announced.

Remember there has not been one single "official" word on this phone; only rumors and speculation. So if it is not announced this week, (I hope it is), then we can't fall back into the old, "Verizon is so lame and I'm heading to BrandX carrier" mode.

Stick it out, it will be here...

The thing I am worried about is that the mysterious boxes (Sorry MM :D) contain info and a demo device for the N1. If that's the case then we could see a serious push back on the Incredible. Fingers crossed that's not true.

Hello All,

Just wanted to say thanks to all of you that provided information as well as much needed comic relief for the past few weeks. I know it's "just a phone" but following this thread has given me much needed excitement and I'm glad there are alot of people out there like me. Been suffering with the storm 1 since nov. 08 and its only a matter of time now. My ne2 is available in July so I have to figure out some way around that. Hoping that complaining about the storm 1 and the 3 replacements I have received might help.

Anyway, thanks again guys and can't wait for the big announcement TODAY!!!
 
Is there any chance at all that with the announcement of the Incredible, that we will hear that it is now available? Does anybody expect anything more than just the future availability date?

Thanks for your years of service and dedication to help protect our country in a time of need. You and all of our armed men and service women are to be commended and praised! I hope your wish comes true and that we will all be feeling the same euphoria and excitement when the wraps are finally taken off the Incredible.

EDIT: sorry, saw this was Sultan from last night. this is what happens when you think sleep is a good idea...you get waaaaay behind. we're gonna hear something Incredible today, i can feel it.
 
well did anyone else toss and turn all nite last nite..? i did it every hour like clockwork and when i was face up to turn over i would say ctia then fall right back asleep for another hour.. haha release this phone already cause its starting to affect sleep which will effect work which will effect making extra money for incredible things.

and i made my usual rounds before i got to the forum today. i checked google.com/phone 1st and if n1 still not available i take it as a good thing as verizon wants to push their cell 1st, then checked verizonwireless.com nothing new their and everything same price, then im here and im sure theyll be alot of going back and forth today..

it tuesday day. and the time is right! come on have some fun show ya how its done @ C-T-I-A! haha anyone remember tgif?? haha
