^^^ "Customer is always right" haha They'd tell me that *hit when I worked at Sears... The customer is 90% of the time wrong.

I do agree with you too. If I am payin' big bucks I am gonna bitch. Hell, I am gonna bitch regardless haha. We gotta do something until CTIA :D
 
I wish there was a way to filter out all of the messages where people are harassing Verizon employees by phone, email, or at a store. It would at least cut the page count down to the 20's.

I bitch all the time, especially with national companies, like comcast cable (who i hate) but by bitching i got 2 months free cable and they made my intro price from 90 days to a full year

comcast blows goat testes, I had them when I was at PSU and my bro has them at WVA. They are garbage.
 
I pay enough money to Verizon Wireless every month...therefore, I think I'm entitled to bitch a little now and then!

Agreed but why don't you "bitch" in an outlet that will make a difference, e.g. contact mail/email/call Verizon and let them know how you feel. If enough people do it they may change their tactics.

I already did that! I called, Sent email and snail mail. And the best they could do was say, "Ok."

Well, then I applaud you, all they might say to you is "Ok" but as I said if enough people voice their disapproval they will be forced to act. Any well run company knows they have to please their customers, at least more than their competitors will please their customers.
 
Googles website hasnt changed

The front of the website hasn't changed at google.com/phone, but has anyone else tried clicking on the "get my phone" tab on the screen that provides a link for ordering info? I haven't been able to get it to work since last night, could possibly be an issue with my IP, or simply a glitch at Google's site.

I know that this is the Incredible thread, but a lot of us are comparing the two devices, and I find it coincidental that the link isn't working.

Edit: I get a "502 Server Error"
 
Well here is my NO NEW news thing. I decided to e-mail HTC directly, just to see what I could get. All the nice customer service rep did was confirm the incredible is coming. I mainly asked about the Apple lawsuit and delays. I'll bold important parts or parts of interest. Here is her response:

I understand how important it is to find out as much as you can about the device you are looking into purchasing. However, as there is currently no release information for the Incredible. I encourage you to continually visit HTC’s product page at www.htc.com where you can learn more about these amazing new devices and stay informed on any future announcements regarding specific regional availability. This has nothing to do with the lawsuit, HTC will provide our customers with information when the information is available. At this time there are no plans to delay any product releases. If you have any other questions feel free to reply. I will be happy to assist you further.
Check out community.htc.com, our customer-based forum, where you may find a plethora of information regarding your device and be able to ask questions of other users.

^^^ Was hoping to get some sort of a nugget of new info. At least we can rest a little easier knowing the lawsuit shouldn't have jack to do with anything (currently) and there are no reported delays!

No probs. And I didn't mean to call you out specifically but you were just there :) We're all guilty of taking the thread off course from time to time so I just wanted to see what it felt like to throw stones from my glass house.


No worries. You're right. I get excited about something (or make a corny @ss joke about something) and forget it shouldn't be posted in this thread. I'll try to tame it down lol.

Sounds to me like, "no reported delays due to the lawsuit". Anyhow, I wasn't buying whatever that jackle that came in here yesterday and said the entire Incredible FAIL BS anyhow.

It'll come when Verizon says it's ready for the network and me thinks it won't be toooooooo much longer.

Seeing as how there is a lull in news i figured i'd bring up a question that maybe a mod or guide or someone like that can answer...

With the success of this thread, i'm wondering what is the single "biggest" thread on androidforums.com? (just curious how close we are to that)

Yeah that could be true, cause of the lawsuit. I guess I am just hoping it meant regardless of anything lol
 
Well Matthew, (sorry couldn't help myself haha)

I'd say this is a case of No News = Good News.

With all the rumors on here the past few days of delays, this is encouraging. Especially because she acknowledged the phone by name, which is something I highly doubt she would do if it were being scrapped or significantly delayed. Heck, I'd even go so far as to say this is a sign it is coming soon otherwise she would have given the generic "no comment on upcoming devices" rather than specifically say "HTC Incredible."

No problem, I just thought it was worth a shot to see what response I got. Ya never know unless you ask. I think it (the e-mail) seems to make you believe that things are on schedule. What that schedule is? I dunno, hopefully CTIA!
