You get the stock Android apps (which are included on Sense anyways) plus Sense apps. Nothing is taken out other than the aesthetics of Sense. What different "stock" apps does it not come with? And can you just download those from the marketplace?
I posted this earlier, and still stand by it: I don't think we will see anything Incredible-related there. HTC possibly may be showing the Legend/Desire/HDmini, however I feel strongly that the Incredible release will be a Verizon announcement. (The Incredible is a VZW exclusive, similar to the Droid - so I expect it to be handled in the same fashion)FWIW: for those that hope there might be some news from the gdgt party in Austin, if there should be, one of our contributors is there:
Umm.. what? That is completely WAYYY off topic, and has NOTHING to do with the Incredible. This thread is not for embracing all kinds of phones. At this point, I'd say most of us are interested in the Incredible - with maybe a few on the fence between the N1/Incredible; otherwise, they would not be in the Official INCREDIBLE thread. It just dawned on me that there are some seriously powerful forces at play within the emerging world of wireless technology.
Please keep in mind that ANYONE can subscribe and become a member of this forum.
I find it very hard to believe that there is not a single Apple "fanatic" subscribed to AND participating within this thread. Not to mention AT&T and possibly even others... if I found this thread on page 34 then I imagine others can too. The excitement building within this community is hard to ignore.
Yes it IS all about the Incredible. However, I think its about more than just the phone. Its about the technology that brings US TOGETHER and allows US TO STAY CONNECTED.
Remember to keep an open mind when you read something that may seem offensive - it could be placed here purposefully.
Just some thoughts.
Peace,
