so im guessing 7 home pages have been verified and not 11 from videos ive seen of the legend running 2.1 with sense ui (which is a big reason why im looking forward to this phone).
im hoping this will be the greatest week upcoming (Breaking Bad debuts mar. 21, b-day with money for incredible mar 24, release 27th?) even if i have to wait til early april will be well worth it.
heard rumors the ss will not be released til later this year which hopefully sets up the announcenment of the incredible.
for all those who harp on thier ne2 plan, you only have to complete 20 of the 24 months, you do not have to wait until the day you signed your contract to take advantage of this. check vz website.

Where did you see that Sense 2.1 had 11 screens? I don't think I've ever seen a Sense phone with 11 screens on video (which is alot).

And I do believe that a Sprint representative has confirmed a summer release for the SS.

Maybe made up? I have no clue - but I can almost guarantee you, not only is that more laudatory than Incredible, it also has religious connotations which will not play very well to the general populace. He says its in his tweet that it will be "releasing with us" which means hes a VZW employee (the phone is a VZW exclusive), so I think if there were rumors of a name change that our VZW sources would have atleast brought it up.

Edit: Just saw your post above(guess I was on the reply screen still when you posted). Yeah. i figured "Miracle" was a bit of a stretch.

And apparently not a fan of HTC. Not sure why he would say that though since HTC has been making some of the better phones for a while now.

I actually wish phones would be a few mm bigger to accomodate some of the other features that are usually either/or. I want to know how much more room for a better camera lens or is that just money? Yes I have SLR's for important pics but most pics I want to take are spur of the moment that I won't have any stand alone camera for. I would also like a physical keyboard and would sacrifice the extra room. A bigger screen would be worth the extra pocket room. Some other things that elude me right now.

I just found his account on Twitter because he had mentioned the HTC Incredible tonight. We were just asking him questions. Seems as though he works for VZW, just not sure what type of position.

Thanks man. Very interesting...might explain the many different rumored launch days that are so close together.

On the other hand, with a phone like this, one would think that VZW would want to advertise it with a launch date.

You are welcome... On a slow day for news, I am just trying to dig up everything I can.
 
I just got home from paying my bill at VZW and asked one of the salesman if he had heard any news about the Incredible, and his response was,

"There's a phone named the Incredible? Huh, I've never heard of it. The only Android phone that I know of coming soon to VZW besides the N1 is the Moto Devour."

That's all the news I could get out of the VZW in Bellevue, WA.

Not only are they releasing an AMAZING phone (if the specs hold up), but there may be something we're missing. Perhaps something like a Skype integration we're not picking up on, Live TV, ability to install apps to SD card or the expanded ROM, some other service they haven't launched yet...i don't know, just thinking out loud. With 8gb of moviNAND, that sure would work really well for a Netflix streaming app. This is possible already with Android, and given the advanced type of internal flash that moviNAND is, that just might be the extra splash we hear on announcement day.

Wouldn't that be sweet :cool:
 
andsoitgoes76@jfoley22 Just basic specs. I'm not really excited about it. I'm counting down to a front facing camera, LTE running Smartphone.

Did you mention the Incredible was an Android device or did he put words into your mouth? Cause if you hadn't mentioned Andriod, then he would be lieing.
