I've never seen such a bunch of panty-waisted Nancy boys whining about...

"Verizon is so far behind the other carriers"
"Verizon is the last to get good phoneS"
"why don't they throw us a bone and tell us some news"

Crap, if you're unhappy with VZ phones or policies, this is America, chose another network.

And IF VZ doesn't have anything coming out soon, what do you want them to do, tell you that they DO, then keep you waiting another 4 months? Or put out some joke of a lesser model (cough, Devour, cough).

VERIZON didn't leak info to keep you salivating, why get pi$$ed at them. Wouldn't your anger be better directed at those that leak photos or videos.

LET'S BE GRATEFUL FOR WHAT WE HAVE.
 
I just want to know who else thinks the HTC Evo has ugly *ss buttons? the rest looks fine but those buttons really? It is like they thought the user was too dumb to know where the button was so lets put a ring around it like a bullseye
 
Why would both boxes have the same phone? oh well we know the Incredible is coming it's just a matter of when, and I do think it will be out before the EVO which won't be out til June at the earliest.
 
Ok this is to everyone complaining about today and no announcement, PLEASE stop posting everything you think right away! We're all wanting is phone as bad as you are. Just take a deep breathe, we will get our phone.

I was very bummed that Verizon stood on the side lines as Sprint took over all the cameras. But we still have a couple days left in CTIA. Remember today is only the 1st day! Even if Verizon announced the phone today it would of been in the shadow of the EVO, they just have to be ready tomorrow after all the blogs are done about Sprint and their crappy network.

With MM says the htc rep is showing up tomorrow at the store, they may announce the phone and to be released really soon. Sprint stole the spot light but I'm sure Verizon has something up their sleeve for tomorrow and make us happy again.

Remember at&t was quite today too, so lets just hope tomorrow is Verizon's day, and hope for an early release of the phone.

We are a community here, everyone (over 21) grab a cold one, get a good dinner, and get some good sleep tonight and hope for an exciting day tomorrow!

Come on I need everyone rested so once I get out of class I can read all the exciting news here! :D
 
So I got bored and went to watch some NIT hoops. Saw at least 3 commercials for the Droid. I don't think verizon would still be dumping millions into advertising their "flagship" phone if a new one was coming out in the next couple days, weeks or perhaps months
 
Ok first of all i want to say for the people getting the inside info without them this thread would be nothing, second of all i want to say will you people just chill we know what the phone is, we all want to see it we know it exists. It isnt faked and made up thats ridiculous but in any case sprint just stole the show for TODAY not tomorrow today I am 100 percent certain verizon will announce this phone before the end of CTIA. Now everyone just calm down and lets all wait for this exciting new phone to come out, if anything it means sprint is scared of verizon in which case is the reason why they pulled out there phone that isnt even coming out for two months :)
 
I really hope this and the N1 drop soon. I have been telling family to hold off on upgrading until they come and was going off of the March 23rd-25th dates that were thrown around hoping they would be right. Come on Verizon and don't let me down if these don't drop soon I will tell her to go get the EVO. I am just glad that the iPhone is not an option as she doesn't get coverage where she lives.

Nope, AMOLED is actually terrible in daylight.

It's amazing though, so much better than LCD either way. I dont know about you guys but i won't really be looking at my screen in direct sunlight.

Atleast SUPER AMOLED is here

This doesn't sound promising. Not that the blog knows every move HTC will make but if the boxes are all uncovered it's probably a sound guess.

Why would Verizon wait and release this a few days after CTIA? If it's ready to announce, wouldn't they do it with all the media there? Does this mean we're in for a long wait before an announcment?
 
No reason just trying to keep the spirits up ;) of you guys i know im new and all but im telling you why would verizon let every other carrier blow them away?
 
Although it is a bummer that there's no information today I'm not going to let it ruin my night and neither should anyone else. There's still time for this phone to come out and I'm not rushing to another provider anytime soon. Don't lose hope guys let's keep this positive, this thread has been so much fun before let's not bring it down!

As for Sprint, my bf changed to Sprint over the fall and he has coverage in only half of our apartment while I have full coverage so there's no way I'm changing.

I'm still super pumped about a great smartphone that will be coming out soon!

Well since the other box didn't contain a Incredible I would think that HTC or Verizon might announce the phone immediately after the event. Unless a huge glitch was found in the hardware, it makes no sense for the phone to take such a long time to release after documents and pics have been released. Sprint probably paid HTC big bucks to hold back the Incredible until they were done with their launch. Capitalism b*tches.
