Very nice. I was going to do one, but it was after midnight and I was tired. I started to, then felt like an idiot.
Mine didn't have any stickers on the sides or the top, which I thought was odd. It seems ok, though and everything is working fine.

There are differences in the packaging between the black and white versions. That may explain it

Do you save your contacts to Gmail? Assuming you signed into Gmail when you started up the phone all your contacts should be there. Try going into contacts and hitting the menu button and choosing which contacts to display. Select the one that has your contacts. Some people who have GSM naturally save their contacts to their SIM. That's cool, but I think it's safe to save your contacts to your Gmail account instead. You can go into settings under account and sync and choose your Gmail account and then check on or off what you want to sync with it. That way if anything was to happen to your phone, you have all your contacts synced to the cloud. Even pictures now with the Google+ sync.
There is an import option in gmail too if you can get your contacts how they are now into a CSV file.

I got it, thanks all! Didn't realize there were multiple sync settings on my old phone, and contacts wasn't set! All fixed

Ordered mine on 31st leaves warehouse by 8th Nov. e-Mail Saturday to say dispatched. Got home Monday evening and it was at my door. Using on ee in uk good signal. Upgrading from an S4. Miss some features but not touch-swizz. Had a N4 before and sold on e-bay last Monday for
It seems many people who have a ship by date of Nov 8 are already getting shipping notices, or already have the units in hand. I ordered around 6:30pm EST Oct 31 and nothing yet. Any others with Nov 8 shipping dates still waiting? BTW, I'm done reading everyone's impressions! I want my own impressions!

For OK Google, apparently it only works with the English us language choice
I got my exchange account to work on the native email as it did on the GNex. I did have to set the username to "server\username" for it to get connected. Could that be the issue?

Hi are you saying put my server and username on the same line? Then do you repeat the server name on the server line?

There isn't touch to wake
You can say OK Google in the home screen and it'll open Google voice search IF you have it configured that way

I thought I had read in a review that it was a feature I mush have been confused with the G2? I thought it was funny as they were waxing lyrical about how great it was but I had an old dumb Nokia that had the feature. I wonder if there is a App?

Many custom kernels feature slide to wake. I'd be surprised if this didn't get one.
The g2 has the "knock" feature where you touch it twice to wake the screen up

Apparently I decided I wanted to buy this phone about 4 days too late. I ordered Monday. I assume everyone that's getting them this week ordered on 10/31... Has anyone got a shipping notice that ordered after 10/31? Just trying to gauge how fast they are getting out.
Phone is on my desk but it is unusable because our WiFi requires browser authentication. If I want to activate it, I could go outside and setup a hotspot and connect to it but I'm content with just charging it off my laptop for now. I have some work to do and will probably just set it up at home tonight. Then a trip to the AT&T store to get the Micro-SIM.

I tried the tapping thing but it didn't work so I went outside and it downloaded the update off my iPhone and it applied the update and is rebooting. I hope that I don't have to go back outside again. It would be nice if I could set it up for my wife and then get the SIM card. It is Micro and not Nano, right? It looks the same as the Nano on the iPhone.

Yeah. If you ordered even a few hours after it went live there were already multiple week estimated waits. The good news is Google has been way overestimating how long its going to take to ship. You'll probably get it earlier than quoted
