My last post shows its rooted and ready, but I'm assuming Google wanted to keep that exclusive and a selling point for Moto bearded the color options.
 
Got it updated. Took about 5 min after download to boot. Okay Google now is nice. Sensitive. Tempted to unlock bootloader and root but probably going to wait a bit and use the device first to check it over.

Really want to check the camera out and get a feel for the battery life.

I am digging the squareness of the device and the better grip over my note.

I was going to do an unboxing video but figured there are going to be a ton of them so I might as well use the thing for a bit then perhaps make a video of my thoughts :)

Edit: after updates I have 26.32gb available from 32.

Time to start installing stuff. Yes I know I will need to redo this if I root. Maybe I will not? :eek:
 
Mine just left the sorting facility in Middleburg Heights, OH. So that means it should it should arrive in Buffalo or Syracuse sometime this evening, and then move to Rochester overnight. Can't you tell I've ordered too much from Google ;):p
 
Mine is still "Departure Scan" from KY. My guess is that it's approaching our regional UPS place which is about 40 miles from here. It's half a day to our local UPS and then on the truck for delivery. I'm expecting Wednesday but would be pleasantly surprised if it arrived tomorrow. It will probably take me a day to set it up for my wife and I'll need to get a case for it but I'm hoping that she'll be very pleased with it.

KitKat is beautiful. All the way. I feel bad for you if you don't have the Nexus 5 yet.
 
Um, no. Quite a few states away. Just looking now, they just must not have updated it. Now it shows it had been in transit and now it's at least in my state :-)
