Official "I JUST ORDERED THE NEXUS 5!!!" Thread

WooHoo! UPS says its on the truck for delivery. Gonna be a long day at work. Ordered a white 32g for my wife and a black 32g for me.

Mine is "out for delivery" as well. Almost feels like Christmas morning with the anticipation. ;)

I'm pretty happy with the speed of shipping. While I did pay the extra $4 for 2nd Day Air, I ordered late Monday afternoon, so it should be delivered in less than 48 hours from when it was ordered.
 
I have my new Nexus in hand and enjoying. I'm slowly getting it set up. I have it on a wireless charger right now, really love that feature. I will say, the white Nexus seems a bit slick; I can tell I'll want a case on it.
 
How many are going caseless? I'm using a diztronic tpu now but have the urge to go nude! Lol. And not just with my phone!
 
Every once in a while I'll go caseless. Maybe 30% of the week. I take it out most nights to use the wireless charger and some mornings just don't out it back
 
I always have the urge to use it without the case, but since the last time I took a phone around without the case I found out how fragile glass can be, I leave the case on all the time.
 
I have the white, and am glad I have the white.

I'm currently using a Diztronic Clear (Frosted) TPU case. It goes naked occasionally but I use the case to give it a bit more grip.
 
I also thought my phone was slick. I ordered the gray google bumper case and love it. I also ordered the screen protector from Otterbox. It said not to be used with case. I called Otterbox and was told it would be a tight fit but at least use the front protector. I put on both and am using the wireless charger by google. All is working well. Love it. Only thing is I can not see the white phone in the gray case. That is o.k. Only reason I got white is my husband usualy gets black so I get white. I love this phone. It was time for my free upgrade. Woohoo.
 
I keep my phone in a case unless I'm at home I may take it off and use it that way I have a bad problem with dropping my phones
 
I take it off at home just because I like the feel of it, the phone I'm talking about here. Otherwise a thin gel case does it for me.

I love the nexus I always choose one over any other device I've never had any big issues with them! Smooth experience and overall great phone! I'm sure the more you play with it the more you will fall in love! I got my nexus in Jan couldn't be happier but I just got the software update to 4.4.3 changed some things but still a great phone and I'm happy with the changes that I have found so far!
 
Hey guys, thinking about ordering the Nexus 5. I am still on VZW and have two count em yes two Moto X's lol. Want the Nexus 5 for stock experience of course and rooting and messing around.

I was wondering if you all still think its worth it or should I wait? Please help me decide one way or another if I should take the plunge.
