no wait this is Drumstick sorry :D

As far as anyone knows the soak test hasn't even started yet and that process takes anywhere from two days up to a week and sometimes longer. Its is highly doubtful that it will be pushed to the everyone this week.

I am hearing mixed reports on the radio performance after the update. Current stock build IMO already sucks, so shudder to think of it being worse. Too many data issues already.

Call function is not the problem. All data related.

I'd say anytime between now and the end of the month. It really depends on how well the soak test goes. If they don't discover any system-breaking flaws then it may be soon. Otherwise we'll be waiting a while.

Still doesn't help curb the anticipation, though.

It is highly doubtful there will be an update today or even this week. The main soak test hasn't even started yet. Until the soak starts an bugs are identified there will not be anything pushed to anyone.

Guys, give the man a chance to get back to us before we lynch him. If he actually got ICS I for one want to see it. And besides, if he did make it up then he WANTS us all lathed up into a frenzy. Please politely go about you're business until he's had a change to post screen shots...

I gave him the benefit of the doubt because i know when 2.3.6 came out alot of people got it before i did so i figured this would be the same.

As for the 7 mins i figured 4g speed? lol

I know we should take this with a grain of salt but I tweeted Motorola about ICS: Hi Josh. The DROID RAZR MAXX is receiving ICS but we do not have a release date for you. We'll share more details soon.

Maybe it's the soak test that's supposed to start today?

The first soak test goes out to a handful of users and if nothing major is found a second soak goes to a much larger group. The initial soak happened last week but the second soak has not indicating a problem was found. These opinion are my own, I have no inside information. I am still right though :).

It wont let you look for update right now on 4G or 3G you have to be on WiFi?..even at 20mb/s there is no way for it to install the new OS in that time. I also know that flashing roms with tools like clockwork recovery takes less time then the update and just to flash roms can take 10+ mins.

Show of hands. Who thinks Verizon/Motorola could do a better job of informing users whats going on with updates? [hand shoots up]
