T-Mobile just notified me of the ICS update. Initial install worked except the photo panel disappeared. Phone has 180 apps installed, most to sd card. Fooled around with various settings until the phone entered an endless loop. After power on the phone would stay on for about a minute then Sense would restart. So after using the phone for many months with minor complaints I did a hard reset losing all the settings. The phone now works with the exception of the common complaint of sense restarting regularly.
One of features that was changed/deleted in ICS are folders. Only 16 apps can be grouped which are called a folder. Previously one could create a folder and copy as many apps links and scroll up and down. I never use wifi calling and even though it is turned off and disabled it still shows as a running process using 11+Meg of memory. Stopping the process is ineffective as it starts right back up.
So my take is don't bother updating your phone unless you are prepared to do a hard reset.
