Here's a copy of the PM I sent, in case anyone wants to hand out invites in a similar fashion. Feel free to copy/paste if you'd like or not. Everyone is entitled to give away their own invites at their own discretion.

In the interim while we wait, you may find
"Blue Mail" from the Play Store an interesting option.

I have Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook and other mail accounts all being handled by Blue Mail and find it does push very well. I also like it's UI a lot. Free without ads it's ideal for my purposes.
 
I submitted a request to inbox@google.com as soon as the blog post was made announcing Inbox (around 12:30PM Central on Wednesday):

I received my invite from Google last night. It doesn't look like I have any invites to pass on, but at least it's encouraging to know that they're working quickly to get invites sent out. :)
 
The invite option isn't active yet. I've looked everywhere in the app and on my laptop. I will let you know as soon as they activate it.
 
I've got three one invites to hand out. First to PM me their email gets 'em! :D
