Got it at 3:30 this morning. Takes a lil getting use to. Installed with no issues. Took about 10 to 15 minutes total.
Did you sign up for any soak test or register your phone at Motorola?

Finally, I don't see a news feed in the app drawer.
Got it this morning. It kills Launcher Pro so I can't use the Facebook, Bookmark, or Calendar widgets that I'm used to. There doesn't seem to be multiple dock support so I'm limited to 4 apps shortcut plus the app drawer. I haven't found a way to edit icon text either. Finally, I don't see a news feed in the app drawer. After 6 hours of playing I'm just now getting it set the way I want it. Haven't played with it a lot yet but my first impression is that there are some neat little things that have disappeared and no new ones that blow me away. I expect to see a lot of minor updates in short order.
OK...10pm here in MN...no updates yet. Is it by state? Area code? How do they determine who gets it first and when?
I got it but I'm not a fan of the txt messaging app. Anybody have a good messaging app? Not a fan of handcent either

No idea how they update or in what order but VZWsupport tweeted in a response to someone asking about it earlier today that it will take 2-3 weeks to reach everyone.
4:12 on the battery and it's at 50%. Looked but don't see any odd apps or processes running so not sure what's eating the battery so fast. Not a good sign though.
Oh someone could just post it and everyone could install it, rooted or not. That's how I always got my updates first on my droid x

I've been unplugged for 20 hours and am still at 80%. Love my ICS infused Maxx!

Unless I missed it, I don't believe I saw the question brought up about the data connectivity.
For those that have received the ICS update already, have you noticed an improvement with the data connectivity? Were you experiencing it before ICS? I've noticed that it has gotten a tiny bit better since June 21 (when Verizon flipped the switch on a bunch of new/expanded networks), but driving around with the phone in the car dock and the map on, I still notice the little blue warning come up on the screen stating "maps cannot update due to lack of data connection" every once in awhile. The area I live and travel in are all very heavily blanketed in 4G LTE, so I know that coverage isn't an issue.
Just curious to see if ICS does, in fact, fix this issue. I'm a little worried because in Verizon's software update release on their site, it doesn't state "LTE Connectivity improvements" like I've seen on other phone's software updates.
There are other launchers in the market that do work with ICS (Apex and Nova come to mind). There are also widgets that match what Launcher pro/sense has (APW widgets).
ICS opens a lot of doors, but does close a few until developers step things up.
Launcher pro should still work with ics, it just wasn't based on stock ics...I can still use lp on the nexus.

Are you also on 4g?
Looking at my screen capture from yesterday I think that was my problem. I was inside a casino that's off the beaten path just a bit. Screen cap shows 3G...
