Flip the LAPDOCK 500 over & have the bottom facing up. There is a single pinhole to which you can reset the LAPDOCK 500.

A toothpick or needle should do the trick.

I just got my Bionic Lapdock ($79.99 on sale) and just started messing with it. I open Docs ToGo and it doesn't open FULL Screen. Is there a setting or a way to do that? It opens the shape of a phone on my lapdock screen.

Any help is appreciated!

EDIT: Nevermind...I figured out you hit the arrows to make it LANDSCAPE, then you go FULL screen and it's perfect!

There is a NEGATIVE to that update that somebody pointed out to me today.

With that update, you no longer use the FIREFOX browser...it's the ICS default browser.

Meaning, if you use HULU...it will be recognized as a MOBILE browser and you won't be able to get HULU unless you buy/subscribe to HULU PLUS or you download some type of FLASH apk to fool Hulu. But if you don't use Hulu...no issues other than that (that we know of).

On my regular PC, FIREFOX does use a TON of memory when I look at my TASK manager as compared to IE so maybe that will speed up performance otherwise.

Yeah, there was a video that talked about it. I don't use Hulu. With the Lapdock 100, I just un-seat the photon to use Netflix and it works just fine.
 
i have a question... i just got my lapdock 100 to use with my razr today and i love it! using it right now...

i like it, but i would like to know if there is a way to make the audio during a call go through the lapdock speakers not the phone speaker?
any other tips for using it?

I have not come across any way of accomplishing this.
If it's any consolation to you, the speaker on your phone is probably better than what's on the LAPDOCK 100.

You may also want to visit MOTOROLA FORUMS,their forum on WEBTOPS, DOCKS, & LAPDOCKS is a bit more active than what we have going on here @ ANDROID FORUMS.

For those who are tinkerers or even slightly mechanically inclined,this modification is reportedly easy enough to complete in a matter of minutes.

The BIONIC LAPDOCK is now available from e-Bay/1SALEaDAY for $79.99

The PHOTON will work w/o any modifications to the BIONIC LAPDOCK.

The only caveat is that the PHOTON will sit slightly offset in the tray/slot of the BIONIC LAPDOCK.

Just a BTW,the LAPDOCK 500 PRO stays @ home,either the BIONIC or ATRIX LAPDOCK will be for work,the other in by backpack,& that leaves the LAPDOCK 100,which someone here @ A/F was kind enough to practically give to me.;)

If the modification goes well w/the ATRIX LAPDOCK,I'll pay it forward to someone here (LAPDOCK 100) @ A/F,as I do not foresee a need for a 4th LAPDOCK for myself.:eek::p
 
One can never have enough lapdocks lol

I had two, gave you one and with other accessories i usually buy two as well one for home and one for work.

Has anyone traveled through airport security with one of these lapdocks? Are they treated like a regular laptop? What if a screening agent wants it turned on? (I'm not even sure they do this anymore.)

I'd make sure I have my WEBTOP-ENABLED phone w/me,to show the TSA screening agent what it is that you actually have.

I can see the lines @ the airport backing up now....... :hmmmm: ..:questionmark::hahaha::banghead::trytofly::hmpf::angel:
 
TS, did you have it one of those laptop bags or did you take it out for them? What has been your experience? I'm planning on taking it on an airline and want to avoid a hassle.
