Phone testing select LTE only after you get LTE put it on LTE/gsm/wcdma *#*#4636#*#* if doesn't work on Samsung device there is an app called phone testing in the app store that opens it I use on moto g

I guess I could nandroid then flash a 4.1 rom enable band 4 and then restore... will that work?

When you hit LTE B4 it'll only stay searching for LTE B4 and that'll show if you can get LTE or not but then after a minute or 2 if you want to get calls you have to switch it back to automatic

I see....thanks for the help and clarification.

I have a Moto Atrix HD that i switched over with. After switching, i have full voice, sms, and data (LTE speed is awesome) but i cant send or recieve MMS..Called Metro tech support and they told me to switch from the fast.metropcs.com APN to the fast.t-mobile.com. It still didnt fix the issue, and now with that APN, i get worse signal strength, and i dont get LTE. I know it will work on their netowork because I was on straight talk for a month on the t-mobile sim card. Does anyone know which APN i should be using?

Fast.MetroPCS.com Add the rest of the apn settings because just putting it in won't make it appear, Sometimes. We have a sticky with the apn settings.

Thanks for the replys. It turns out the APN wasnt the problem, they had to reset the account settings. For the record, im still using the fast.metropcs.com APN. Metro just has their setup weird, they use the IMEI of the phone not the SIM card like everyone else.

They use the SIM card but the SIM card won't work if its not matched up with the IMEI that's registered to the account

Has to be a metro sim to attach to your metro account

k cool thanks for the quick reply. wanted to make sure cause i know they sell t-mobile sims at bestbuy but not metro sims. guess i will have to just order one and wait was trying to find a way to not have to pay activation fee and get one today.

I have a i317 on Metro PCS. If I pop in a T Mobile sim, I get LTE immediately. However, if I put in my Metro PCS sim the best I get is H+/H (4g+/4g). I am using the identical APN (fast.t-mobile...)as well, just can't figure this out.
