I've tried forcing the different bands and even selecting LTE only in service menu.
And it just doesn't lock on?
Did you call metro pcs and attach your imei to your sim? It wont work unless the imei and sim are in the system together.
Thanks...but same deal. I'll leave it thru tomorrow and see if it changes.
Think it's a build prop issue or does Metro have it blocked somehow from LTE?
Update: keeping APN on fast.metropcs.com did not help
Is it called metropcs LTE. That you have it under. Right now I am grasping at straws
Don't get why under LTE I get no service...😭
The APN name tho what is it called, name it metro PCS 4g LTE
I wonder if it's gprs APN needed for it. One of the newer apns like off nexus 5

i could be totally wrong but i think it has something to do with your custom rom. the option for grayed out ipv6 is usually found in custom roms. i know that a lot of nexus 5 users get LTE on ipv4 protocol so...
in the metropcs APN setting do you have
MVNO type GID
MVNO value 6D
just to try something
I added the MVNO type GID and
MVNO value 6D then had no data...voice only. Very puzzling.
Flash back to stock, or download the .qcn file to get the AWS bands to work, google att note 2 to tmobile, then program apn

Wait is it on a custom rom '

yea, I doubt that has anything to do with it, but it cant hurt anything to try it
Should I flash stock?
could use a lil help here. ive recently began getting worse service in my home and around town, to the point where i can no longer even reliably send or receive texts in my house let alone make or receive calls. surprisingly my data continues to work fine and i get a solid 4g connection.
outdoors its better but people still generally have trouble hearing me and sometimes i get disconnected.
i live on long island and i used to get real good service, is it possible that its just the phone crapping out or does it have to do with the merger?
also if i were to get a new phone should i get another one direct from metro or should i get a t-mobile? t-mobile obviously has a much better selection but i wanna make sure itll work well.
Which phone are you using? Is it CDMA?also if i were to get a new phone should i get another one direct from metro or should i get a t-mobile? t-mobile obviously has a much better selection but i wanna make sure itll work well.
