So this phone is to have MotoBlur, any word on whether this can be disabled? I'll be honest, I have zero experience with Blur, it just seems people prefer just Android without the manufacturer monkeying with the OS.
 
I think the onboard memory has been bumped up to 8GB and it will come with a 8GB (maybe 16GB?) card.

Yes you are able to disable blur and you don't even have to root to do it... Who knows though, the new version of blur that launches with the shadow may be awesome

I dont have pictures, i just check all the websites all the time for any info and bring them here, so you dont have to, if there are any pictures anywhere, i will find them :)
 
that to me looks like its a slider like the droid. there is definitely definitions between the top and bottom halves.

Question for you guys. I've heard mention of Motorola locking the boot loader on their Android phones released after the Droid. What exactly is the boot loader, and what are the implications if it is locked down on this phone?
 
The bootloader is basically the front gate for root access. by locking it down, it makes the phones harder to hack.
 
was just looking over at hofo and it seems something big is gonna happen on fathers day according to bill23, one of the main guys who has been leaking stuff. It could be an official announcement or the actual release date, who knows... but make sure to mark it in your calendar :)

Blur is a nice feature but if you don't do any social networking, no reason to have it enabled.

I just dunno how I feel about that hump for the camera. May be good for resting your finger under in portrait mode. But in landscape it might feel odd.
