Other than protect the screen any other benefits of flip cases? My friends who have s3s say its harder to text with the front cover flipped back. It has no stand function to view landscape videoss either right?
 
I never used the Flip cover. It came free with my phone. I found it very impractical.

Instead I have a leather pouch for my phone.
 
I have the flip case, white, and it does take a bit getting use to but when flipped to the back I have no issues with any phone functions. It get odd when taking pictures but worth it for a little protection.
 
Had mine for ages and although I like it its a pain to take on and off if you want to put a different cover on, also the cover gets very dirty inside, especially on the left hand side where your thumb sits, have cleaned it about 4 times now, also with the cover on it doesn't fit very well in my car phone holder.
