Its funny how the 'worst' Nexus (Gnex) had the best/smoothest launch...

After the launch, things got f'ed up with Vzw but whatever...

I would still say the Nexus 5 launch was better than the GNex launch. GSM Gnex came out in November while the Verizon version came out in December and Sprint version came out in March or April (can't quite remember)

So the TMO list says getting phones on the 11th, retail on the 12th. You think there's any point in running over on my lunch hour to see if any demo models are out?

This BGR article also says that Verizon will support the phone, although they won't carry it in stores. Wonder if this is just speculation, or if there is something official that they've heard?

Even if they don't carry it in stores, I'd like for it to be in their system so that I don't have to worry about cutting down my micro-sim card and can just order a nano-sim from them without issue.

I think we will find out Big Red's plan tomorrow...

I want to know when Best Buy will get them. That's where I'll be going. Can't afford it anywhere else. Got a line of credit there.

I'm ordering from AT&T tomorrow morning. Maybe b4 I leave for work at 545am or maybe at work. I don't think it will matter one way or the other. I wonder how long b4 we get our att phones. I'm betting pretty soon. I don't think it will be nearly the charley-foxtrot that the play store has been.

I've pre-ordered lots of phones from AT&T, each time they've done a great job. Despite the hype and interest I don't anticipate the same madness as with Google. I plan on checking in to the site around mid morning and placing my order then. It's how I've pre-ordered before and I've had good success.

I think I'll wait another week, or maybe even until after Thanksgiving. At first I thought Google was just being stupid and doing a carrier majority, and just being buttheads and not valuing their customers enough to be upfront, but now I'm wondering if there really aren't some real issues with the phone. So I'll let others deal with the headaches and just sit back and watch a bit.

I wouldn't get it until late December, so plenty of time to let stock refill.

Been sitting on this Sprint upgrade since June :/

Kudos, I think that's a terrific idea.

Normally I would do the same but the one that Google shipped got lost in transit by UPS, thus I was all geared up for it. Plus my travel schedule for December is full and it'd be fun to have the N6 along. So I'm going to order tonight.
