Are these reliable? I was concerned with some of the reviews and there are some others around the same price.

I wish I could tell you, but really don't know. I've never purchased a non Sandisk card until the Lexar card, but I was familiar with Lexar for camera stuff in the past that friends would talk about it a lot as reliable.

I just promised everybody that I'd post up deals on 32gb cards (when I see them), since a couple of the past deals (Lexar and Sandisk) were missed.

Now if they incorporated that sliding mechanism hook up on future lapdocks, then it would be neat.
Although in reality, I would prefer a bigger keyboard (keys) with undercarriage/slide out touch pad. Or better yet use the phone as the touchpad if connected with the cable.

TS

+1 on the slide-out touch pad.Just hooked up a wired mouse to the LAPDOCK 500 today,MUCH BETTER,speeds things up quite a bit.

Great idea on the phone as a touchpad/mouse,TS!

If the current LAPDOCKS were designed a bit differently, this could already be realized.A slide-out carriage (in place of the current touchpad) to house the phone & use as a touchpad.

Are you listening,GOOGOROLA?!?

Another deal on the Samsung 32gb class 10 microSD, $34.99

FRYS.com*|*SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS

I can't wait until the prices start dropping on the 64gb. I did a search the other day and saw a website selling for a little over $100, but I'm not in a rush to get one until the prices drop by at least 1/2, like the 32gb cards did after 1 year.

Same here, the speeds on the 64GB are supposed to eclipse those on the 32 GB Class 10 cards.
If the performance is that much better,it wouldn't bother me so much if the extra 32GB was unusable on the PHOTON.

However,I've read recently(XDA,I believe)that a lower class card (CLASS 4 or 6) would actually work better on the PHOTON(or other phones?).In so many words,a better match.

Anyone knowledgeable on the subject please chime in.
I'll be back on later today to link a source,if necessary.

Seems to me like manufacturers are trying to sell as many 32gb microsd cards as possible. I wouldn't doubt if we see 64gb micros at dropped prices around the same time next year.

Lexar Class 10 card I got is on sale again:

only available for the next 30 minutes or when sold out.

I bought a universal clip mount from amazon
Amazon.com: IG-A03: i.Trek Vent Mount for Garmin Nuvi 200, 200W, 250, 250W, 260, 260W, 270, 205, 205W, 255, 255W, 265T, 265WT, 275T, 500, 550, 680, 750, 760: Electronics

The reason I got this is because I thought it would fit perfectly with the locking mechanism on the mopho dock and my guess was right:

This is just an experiment for now. I'm normally opposed to using a vent mount, simply because I have always had docks specific to my phones and most vent mounts didn't work with phone specific docks. I've been using a friction dash mount with the mopho dock, but have always been thinking of ways that would be more ideal for me. Some of the reasons I'm trying this, 1) The vent mount works with the mopho dock, 2) it takes phone off dash, for better visibility, even though the friction mount worked for my needs, 3) Having phone on dash means more sun exposure, so phone gets hot on sunny days (cali, so more sunny days than gloomy). This puts phone in front of vent for ac to help keep phone cool, 4) Cali law doesn't allow for mount to be placed on center of windshield.

We'll see how stable this is or if the mopho dock is too heavy to keep from a lot of movement. I do have to give motorola a lot of props for making the locking mechanism and suction mount a universal connector that works with many garmin mounts that are sold. I'll report back about the stability and movement after my drive to work tomorrow.

I also have a friction mount coming in also, that has a built in shade/cover. Hopefully, the mopho dock will fit in that, if the vent mount is too unstable.
Amazon.com: ME-USDM: i.Trek Universal Dashboard Mount with built-in holder for Garmin TomTom Magellan iPhone 3/4/5 HTC Samsung Motorola LG Google Android Amazon Kindle: GPS & Navigation

Worst case scenario, I'll go back to my other friction mount and velcro shield/cover.

UPDATE to ^^
Stability with the universal Garmin vent mount was fantastic! Looks like this might be my current setup and I'll keep my other friction mounts for traveling. Another #Win for the MoPho phone dock.

I know the Lapdock comes preloaded with the Firefox browser on it. Does anyone know if we can somehow download Google Chrome on the device and have it as the default web browser instead? I appreciate your thoughts or any feedback!

Got my micro sd. Gonna try formatting in the phone, to make sure it identifies all the memory. I'll post results when finished.

Happy to report, 64gb microSD formatted fine (59gb available). Already had 26gb of 29gb available loaded on my 32gb microSD. I'll have to put another 6gb of music on the card, but that may take some time.

Are you able to move apps to SD w/this card?

What u mean? I don't think it's even possible to move any apps to external sd, is it?

I thought I had read that some users had successfully moved apps to the external SD Card w/a Class 4 or lower card.
I realize the 64GB card is better than that, but, was just curious.

Really. I was never able to with my sandisk class 4.
