Try downloading the app called "Fring" from the app store. It is an all in one client for aim/msn/skype/some other crap I forget. I don't like qik too much since it is proprietary to other qik users for 2 way chats. I like skype better, since most people already have it.
 
I just tested with daboy and it was awsome. The speed Is about 2 or 3 second lag on sound but the quality was pretty good for first generation video chat. Since we have the phone already, now we just need to have a good program to go along with It. I'm still feeling wowed by the way it chat. It's crazy. So from now on if my wife try to cheat on me I know where she is...lol
 
OK I'm stupid, I'll admit it. I tried to install the updated version of QIK for video chat on my phone but. . . . . .

1) I couldn't uninstall the original version
2) I installed the new version as an upgrade to the old version
3) It worked once, after the installation the program came up and ran just fine. But. . . . . . .
4) As soon as the program closes and you try to run the program a second time it says that the icon is not linked to a program and there's no other icon that refers to the program!!!!!!!!!!

So and went back and un-installed the upgrade and back to the original version which will execute from the icon.

What the hell am I doing wrong here! :o

I'll do some research later today. First I have to buy some flowers for my girl, then I gotta get in touch with D/\SH for a project... then I gotta go eat with my girl... after that i'll be able to sneak some research time.

Thanks I appreciate the offer to "research" it. I really don't understand how at least 40 people supposedly have QIK video chat running and none of them can tell me how they did it? :cool:

No need to bother, I found that the QIK for EVO version is back in the Market and it installed just fine unlike the piece of crap update version that has been floating around the forums which is what I attempted to install earlier. :)
 
anyone from the forum want to text Qik with me. Im not sure how this works but from what I read its video to video chatting. If anyone wants tot test let me know.
