That's another reason i dont use wi-fi.. happend everytime on bionic and couple times with the rezound.

Disabling WiFi would disable all connections. Sometimes I could go into networks and turn back on mobile network and sometimes it'd be greyed out and restart was only way to fix it.

OK, I went into Verizon today to check out this phone seriously. 4.3" screen doesn't seem to be so much bigger then my 3.7" Inc. Verizon has the full white beats headphones there, not just the ear buds, I have to say the music sounds very nice. The screen, well what can you say, it's just beautiful... It was all I could do to pull myself out of the store without it. I just still am not sure about the size and I think I should be able to get it cheaper then what Verizon is asking for it. If I am not mistaken Walmart is selling it for something like $229.

$50... OK where did you get that deal. I am really looking at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, or Verizon... Where else should I be looking. Actually I just looked at Walmart again, and it is actually $219 and you get a $100 Walmart GC... If I could get it for $50 I wouldn't hesitate...

That was at Costco on black Friday. You'll have to wait like me and hope a Xmas deal comes around.

I got it on thanksgiving at costco

Well then I saw some up to 12 or 13 idk I live in salt lake so I have no clue what's going on here I also lost reception and had to restart my phone before it worked again

My first time using 4G on my rezound was right around SLC too, and my results were similar to yours at around 4mb down. My upload speeds were just as high as my download speeds surprisingly. I'm sure it will speed up as it becomes more common there :)

Well I live in a pretty poor speed 3g area anyway so that might be it

For those of you who got deals at Best Buy, Costco, and Radio Shack, do they honor your NE2 or are those only for new lines?

Got this phone on the Black Friday deal through Costco. Very nice, but this battery drain is killing me! I have 4g off, nothing syncing, etc and it still drains waaay too fast. What's the point of having a 4g phone if you can't use it most of the time?! If the Nexus gets good real world reviews, this thing will be a short term rental!

Smart phones today almost require extra batteries and an external charger. I haven't plugged my phone into the wall in a long time.

Then either you have a defective battery or you have an app that is draining your battery. I've had the rezound since its second day of launch and I've only had the battery die on me once. It last me a full day with moderate use with 4G on and high performance battery setting. By moderate I mean several calls and texts, web surfing when I need to, music/movie playback during my subway commute (about 30 minutes each way). I also have gmail and corporate email on push, Sense Friends Stream updating every 4 hours, and Sense weather updating every 4 hours. I will admit that during work, I rarely use the phone since i have a PC and phone there. But I still let it autosync all day. The phone idles very well. Like I said, sounds like you got a bum battery or a crappy app hogging battery power.

It is a drag when under high multi-tasking utilization the batteries on smartphones are so relatively short lived and no technology advances in this area for at least for a few years. Extended batteries rock but geez.....so bulky. Having said this I might repeat what I have often expressed on these threads......that outside of the economic outlay for a extra battery ( or batteries ) I just don't see carrying an extra battery as a big deal. Know this is only my own opinion and one that is respectfully expressed.....but I like having a extra battery or two in my front pocket......small enough I have to check they are there and easy to snap in and a cool confident feeling that I have power to spare in any circumstance.

Put another way.....if I told you ten years ago you could carry this thing called a smartphone.....about the size of a deck of cards......and have a HD screen.....a GB of RAM.......a dual core processor faster than your computer.......and a Verizon lightening fast 4 G LTE network.....faster than my cable at home......oh and not to mention the SD storage......and yea......and the ( beats ) technology.to carry around a few thousand music choices........I think having to change out a battery or two is a very small inconvenience.

Please........not at all trying to be indifferent to everyone's frustrations with battery life but only offering another perspective......just saying.....:):)

Something must be wrong with your phone (or you are in a horrible reception area)... I sync everything I want and I get 18 hours out of my standard battery easily (with 4g on).

You may have a rouge app killing your battery also. Look under your battery usage and see if "Android OS" is more than 5%, if so, an app may be killing your battery without you knowing.

Thanks for all of the input, folks. I have only had the phone for 2 days, so I think the battery should break in. I did a full "bump charge" this morning, and 8 hours later I'm still at 1/3 battery. Not bad. Off topic... what online photo storage app do most Android folks use? Anyone have any experience with Picasa Mobile? Recommendations? Thanks.
