Me too and I noticed that when the Bionic was released all the sudden my upgrade date was Sept. 14th. Go figure. But waiting.
Same thing here, whatever comes out first I am getting.
This is getting really frustrating. I really want to ditch AT&T as I can't stand there service anymore, but with the Samsung release event pushed back and no sign of a firm Vigor release date I'm not sure when I will be able to switch. I played around with the Bionic and I wasn't a fan and no way am I getting a last generation HTC phone so I guess I'm still waiting.

Hold strong. I have a friend on AT&T and he's got a bunch of crap locked down that VZW doesn't....plus AT&T's coverage kinda blows.

The camera on that looks amazing. I hope the Vigor gets the same one. I am not eligible for my last NE2 upgrade until December 27th, pre-launch INC here. But the more and more I read about this phone the more I want it. The Prime looks great but I love Sense and it seems like it will be too big.
All of us that are pre-launch Incred owners, whose NE2 aren't up until the end of December don't have to worry. My original NE2 wasn't up for another 6 months when I switched to the DInc. Call Verizon, don't waste your time with a customer service rep, they can't do anything...speak to a manager, have the manager lock ya up for another 2 years and get ya the deal on a new phone.

Some of the devs over at XDA who have worked with the Vigor and Rhyme RUUs have said that the Sense 3.5 on the Rhyme is custom to that phone, a sort of 3.5-lite, coded for the mid-range specs of that device, and that the full-blown 3.5 on the Vigor is nothing short of "jaw dropping."
Hey Patch, since you've seen and used both of these phones, can you comment on the Sense UI differences between them?
I'm ready to drop my jaw... bring it on.

In the spirit of looking for any morsel of new information on the Vigor, I found some new listings for HTC/OEM and 3rd party accessories, including cases, that just popped up for the Vigor.
The Tessco site lists this phone as the Rezound, so the name game certainly seems to continue. The Mobile City site lists the expected in-stock date for the HTC/OEM cases as October 13, 2011- maybe a good sign.

Well i'm coming from the Inc so EVERYTHING is different to me. I have sense 1.0, you have sense 2.0, Sensation&Evo 3d have sense 3.0, etc..
Hard for me to say what exactly is different since practically everything is different for me. I can say that some of the biggest changes are in the lockscreen department, the ability to start apps from the lockscreen. It also has live weather on lockscreen (think this is from 3.0 though)
No more of the weather widget we are all used to, simply isnt there on the rhyme. Looked like new widgets for missed calls, mail, texts, etc... 3d carousal, notification pull down has tons of stuff in it, most recent used apps, settings for wifi, 3g, bluetooth....
App drawer has 'tabs' now... all, downloaded, most recent, etc..

Reading that has me so damn pumped. I love Sense UI so much it is what keeps me going back to HTC. The idea of it being even smoother and slick has me thrilled. Man, I need to know when this phone is coming out. The wife's upgrade is just sitting there waiting for me to take it!
LOLI think the 3.0 weather widget is around in full version of Sense 3.5. I'm basing it on the Sensation XL walkthroughs I saw so I would assume the Vigor would have the same.
Sorry I don't follow the medical field. That's good to hear we won't have to pay more because of them.

I know there are many people that do not know who Dr Dre is, but have a really hard time believing that someone who is on an internet forum seeking information about a cutting edge piece of technology that hasn't been released yet is one of them...

I caught a new article on Droid Life discussing the fact that the Droid Charge was dropped in price to $199.99 this past Friday, and how that drop is likely due to a desire to clear out inventory as the Prime is launching a few weeks from now, and replacing (and improving upon) the Charge.
As the Vigor/Rezound seem to have the same relationship to the TB, I checked the TB pricing and found it still listed at $249.99 on a 2 year contract. Then, I checked the pricing of both phones on the Testman site, and found the TB discounted by $100.00 on a special promo to $149.99 on a 2 year contract, with the Charge being listed at $299.99 on a contract of the same term.

Does the Testman site tend to show what will be posted to the actual VZW site in the near future, i.e., the Charge will go back up to $299.99 and the TB will drop to $149.99?
