The Incredibles looked nearly identical, with more accurate colors on the Inc2, with a SLIGHT edge on contrast for the Inc1. If you happen to go back, check out the Tbolt vs. the Inc2 and see what I mean. Here's hoping we see some reviews of the Rezound soon. Both Engadget and BGR have reviews of the Razr out, so with the Rezound launching 3 days later we should see something soon.

Does the TB use the same screen as the EVO 4G? I work with someone who has the EVO 4G, and when I got my DInc 2, he saw the screen and asked if it was AMOLED like my DInc 1. When we put them side-by-side, the DInc 2 was MUCH better with contrast, color and clarity. The EVO looked washed out and almost unreadable from almost every off-angle.

If the TB has the same screen as the EVO, I think it's safe to say that your phone is not anomalous. The SLCD screen is just much better than a standard LCD.

Don't know about the Evo for certain but that sounds exactly like what I saw with my Tbolt, especially viewability on the off-angles. The one thing is the Tbolt is SLCD also, but it sounds more like a regular LCD. Let's just hope the Rezound's screen is as nice as they're saying it is. Personally I don't care if it's amoled or SLCD, as long as the colors are as good as my Inc2 and it's as crisp as they're saying, I'll be happy.

Agreed 100%- I don't care what technology is used in the screen if it's like the DInc 2 but more crisp as the reviewers are saying.

I know it's not the best test, but in the videos and pics that have turned up, the screen looks like it won't disappoint.

Agreed, after seeing the Wirefly video I'm getting excited. I will still wait for reviews (mainly for battery life) but even if it isn't the greatest I'll probably bite the bullet and get the ext. battery & cover. I'm guessing Wirefly should have a full review either tomorrow or the next day, and hopefully some more reviews from other tech blogs as well.

I watched the videos WorldofJohnboy had on DroidForums.net, and they basically answered all my questions except for battery life (I think he was required to remove the videos and thread because they all of the sudden went down with no reason given). But the Quadrant benchmark was around 2500-2800, 1080p video capture was sweet looking, sound seemed at least as good as the Tbolt (my only gripe with the Inc2), plus the beats software (hooked to the line in on his desktop) sounded pretty damn good. Even if I don't use the Beats headphones, the Engadget review said that it sill enhances the sound for other headphones as well. I'm pumped!

So my girl used my upgrade back in june so I been holding on to her upgrade since july. She called me from the verizon store yesterday and not only had it in her head that she was gonna use that upgrade (she was all like, "did you know i have an upgrade available?") but she wanted to use it on an iPhone!!! :eek:

luckily i got there in time, she is considering switching to a smartphone and i got to work on her to go with an android (preferably my Inc when i go w/ rezound).

Needless to say there was a moment yesterday that i almost slipped into straight PANIC mode. Since she used my upgrade (on a phone she HATES) i'm not available for an upgrade till 02/13 on my line!

well i'm bummin' now. Verizon just left me a message, and they will move my date up to accommadate my getting the Vigor at an extra discount, but they won't move the DH's up so I can get him the Iphone4s for christmas. :( I will have to try that again closer to Christmas. Too popular of a phone they say. Oh well, hopefully he will enjoy my Dinc. But I have to say, I am kind of worried he is going to break it...and I will be :mad: LOL

I'm getting really excited though to get a new phone, and I wish it was going to be 11/10. I will order mine online and if I can't order it until Monday, I will have to wait to get it until Tuesday or Wednesday. :( That still seems like such a long time away!

I just ordered with overnight shipping and it will arrive tomorrow.

Well, I'm probably the stupid one! I finally got my email regarding the vm message verizon left me. So I emailed her back and asked her! :o Hey...figured it couldn't hurt!
 
I am just trying to help you guys.

Call before you start bashing...I have many lines...but I imagine if anyone pushes they will let them order...it is in inventory and could be ordered in the system.

I already called...(hey I'm impatient) they said it's not available until the 14th. it's quite possible it's in their system and even if you spoke with an uninformed rep the shipping team will catch it and not send it out, most likely the order will be cancelled.
 
I have business account...so maybe I have more pull....but this isn't the first time I have ordered a device before release date.

If you get the right rep you just need to push them....model number is HTC adr6425

At first she said she couldn't then she said let me check one more system and it let her order.
