Actually it didn't take long to like it. Can't wait to see the picture!

lol, all you have to do is click on "show". Although, I'm not exactly turned off by the color pink myself. Some of my favorite body parts on a woman are color coded with that specific color. Who would've thunk it? :D

For the record, I said I didn't like hot pink soft keys on my Rezound; I said nothing about not liking other things that are pink! :D My likes, however, don't include the pic you posted:p

Picked up the Rezound yesterday after returning the Razr.

I've had terrible reception issues and dropped calls where the Razr was perfect call quality and coverage.

Will exchange for Nexus hopefully soon.

At first, when I saw how magenta my softkeys were whenever they'd light up, I just figured that all the units were like that despite how they looked in advertisements. To hear that newer batches of the phone (I picked mine up on the 15th) are actually the nice true deep red is a bit annoying. My unit seems perfect otherwise (no bad pixels, etc) and I hadn't noticed any kind of light bleed, so now I'm starting to wonder if it's worth an exchange. I may need to swing by a store tonight to compare to a floor model, but I'll bet the floor model is from the same batch I had and magenta as well. The magenta doesn't look bad, but it'd not exactly the look I was going for. I may have to hold on to this for a while longer and see. As it is, I was on the fence between this and the Galaxy Nexus, and since I'm under the holiday January 15 return window, it'd be foolish to exchange it for another if I end up being lured to the Nexus. Once I compare the Rezound and Nexus screens with my own eyes, I'll know for sure what I'll do. At least I know that, should I keep the Rezound, I ought have a valid reason for an exchange on it. It just sucks that a whole new one would have to be opened up just to ensure the keys are the proper shade of red. I'm also testing for checking on this "issues" list while I'm at it:

The rezound is constantly dropping calls ? Btw it is likely the nexus will not be much better in this dept (i guess we won't know for sure for a couple of weeks) but why did return the razr if it was working fine ?

I wanted the Nexus but since it was delayed I had to return within 14 day window, reset my account and I wanted to try out Resound.

Now I am within the Jan 15 exchange window and will wait for the Nexus which I wanted from the beginning.

Do you mean "tether block" as in you can't download the app from the market or that tether apps don't work in general (ie APK's of ET/PDAnet installed from "other sources")?

Over on XDA a member posted about using his Rezound with PDAnet, "I downloaded and installed it and it works great. Immediately went and purchased a license for it. Thanks!"

I tether quite often with my Incredible and the simultaneous voice/data on the Rezound would make tethering so much more flexible (almost bought a thunderbolt a while back for this exact reason).

Getting close to pulling the trigger on a Rezound, but this kinda caught my attention =)

BTW, I thought my Incredible had a fairly nice screen until I put it next to a Rezound =/

I haven't tried PDA Net but I downloaded Easy Tether from the web and it did not work

This was in my local news today:

A Sioux Falls man is charged with making terrorist threats in a bomb scare at a cell phone store Tuesday.

Police say 51-year-old Kerry Gudmated's cell phone wasn't ready when he stopped in the Verizon Wireless store on 41st Street.

That's when he made what police are calling "alarming comments" to the staff.

Nobody was hurt.

I wonder if the last straw was that they weren't allowing him to keep his unlimited data?:D

You might not be able to exchange for a Nexus. When you go to upgrade, you are allowed one exchange. Since you got a Razr and then exchanged it for a Rezound, you've already used up your one exchange. You might want to confirm that you are able to exchange for a Nexus, otherwise they'll bill you full retail for it.

LMFAO, have you seen the gnex pre-release thread lately???

Not since about a week before the Razr & Rezound launched. I thought iphone fanatics were bad, but some of those guys make them look like casual users. It's great to stand behind a device, but some of this fanaticism borders on obsession.

Well i gotta say it. This is the best Android Phone i've ever had. The only thing about it keeping me fromw returning it for the Nexus is the hardware. The Sense on this Rezound seems to be causing a bit of lag. But i think i could handle it until it get perma root. And hopefully CM9 is around the corner. I loaded up the extended battery on this thing and it's perfect. No complaints from me. Except for occasionally sense lag, and oh yea, where are the arrow keys on the keyboard??

Hey guys I need to go pick up a phone tomorrow and will also be finally getting the wife off sprint so she actually has reception at my house. How is the Rezound? Any major issues? Call quality? Any dropping in and out of 4g or wifi? Sorry but I wasn't able to keep up with this thread and the Nexus thread.

I was going to wait for the Nexus but my DX has finally had it and the radio started crapping out last weekend. Im constantly forcing it in and out of airplane mode :-(

Amazon has them for .01 if you open a new Verizon account. That should help you make your decision.

Wondeful phone - what more could please me - a dual core 720 p phone - in a great 4 g market ( Denver ) - no connection issues at all - good not great phone voice quality but the $ 120 Beats headphones are amazing great !!

When a big issue with a phone is if some hot keys look pinkish when their lit versus straight red, I think that tells you how many "serious" issues it has...lol. Not saying it's perfect by a long shot. There has been some talk of a few things(which you can see here in the forums) but for the most part the phone as performed quite well.

My thought process:

-Nexus Cons:
...
-Rezound Cons:
...

I guess my problem is that no matter which one I choose, I will feel like I am missing out on something.

I bet you is a glass is half empty kind of guy, amirite?

Someone else already mentioned it, and a guide PMed me some more information but ICS won't have Flash support I was told because Adobe isn't supporting mobile flash anymore. It will be interesting to see how Google proceeds with ICS now that they won't have native access to flash. I bet iPhone users around the world are laughing at the Nexus.....
