Surely someone will come through with a horizontal dock. I won't purchase a dock unless it's a horizontal.

And yes Treb I believe the Verizon Nexus will have an 1850mAh battery stock instead of the 1750mAh.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it confirmed that the Verizon 4G LTE version will have a bigger battery?

I've seen journalists speculate that it will have a higher rated battery, but it it hasn't been confirmed on any news site I visit daily. The only thing I've seen confirmed about the Verizon/LTE G-Nex is that it will be slightly thicker. I would hope that would be to accommodate a larger battery as well as the LTE radio though.

They showed a landscape dock at the unveiling. I don't see why they wouldn't release one.

What I don't understand is why they are showing it in the horizontal dock with the pogo connectors on the top side (the side that isn't touching the dock).

According the general consensus its just a rendering error, albeit a quite ridiculous one, but an error in the image itself.

Will those pogo pins be capable of charging or not?
or are they capable of more than charging?

I worry, because the microusb port on my og droid has died because of all the weird angles and pressures of plugging a cable in there over the years.

Yeah, my OG Droid's micro-USB port is starting to get a bit finicky too. I have to wiggle the connector around sometimes for it to connect/charge. Just need it to last another week or two .

Be careful. Mine gave birth to a little piece of metal & plastic (the pins) ... and i tried to reinsert it a couple times, but the last time it came out, it disappeared. Now I can only charge batteries outside the phone.
