Official Samsung Galaxy S2 Car Mount - Carrier Specific?

Hi,

I own a Samsung Galaxy S2 from Telus (Canadian Carrier - actually it's technically a Galaxy SII "X"??)

I want to buy the official Samsung Galaxy S2 car mount, but it's not available through Telus, or anywhere in Canada it seems. They're available from the US, but there are different versions for each carrier - AT&T, Verizon, etc.

Does anyone know if the car mount will only work with S2's from those carriers? Or is it just branding, and would work on any international version of the phone?

For the US variant, the AT&T version has similar dimensions to the global i9100 (it's half a millimeter thicker, so most cases work on both). The Sprint and T-Mobile versions are larger phones with 4.5" screens, so they don't work with the same accessories, unless the mount is adjustable. There is no SGS2 variant available on Verizon.

I don't know for sure which version you have, but some Google searches lead me to believe that the version you have is based on "Hercules," which is the T-Mobile variant. I'm pretty sure this is correct, so accessories made for the T-Mobile version should work for yours (make sure you verify, I am only speculating).

A few more quick Google searches and I have come up empty on an official car mount for this phone.
 
I'm having some difficulty finding the T-Mobile Galaxy S2 car mount - where exactly were you able to find it?
