Ummm...a few things. One the phones Sprint are sending out come directly from the UPS facility so Sprint customers will almost 99% get theirs first. Secondly the reason why is this, when a phone is typically released there is enough time for big box stores to get the phone before release date. So they can do a nice clean release where pretty much everyone gets their phone at the same time. In this case Sprint officially gave a release date and there was a delay. So in order to meet these dates more than likely they will send the phones out at the same time...but perhaps they are giving a day to get some to big box stores. No reason to be upset, it happens and right now big box probably honestly don't know what day they will release. At least BB sent an email. Us (the two of us?) who bought at RS got a phone call days after it was delayed.

Only reason I say that is if one person gets their tracking #......Sprint KNOWS they will get bombarded with phone calls asking "What my tracking #!!!" :burnout:

If you use UPS myChoice, they will tell you when there is a package headed to your house...

funny I had just spoken to wirefly friends and family and they told me 2-3 weeks because the phones are not in yet. The CS rep said they get the phones directly from HTC. If that is the case and they use Fed EX for shipping, I believe that these phones may too have to wait for customs clearence. I hope not.

Check your junk mail. My status actually did not change, it still says "Carrier Approved" and "Order Validation" is unchecked. Good luck. I hope it doesn't take 2-3 weeks! :)
 
I just got and email from UPS My Choice and nearly shat myself. I couldn't click on the link fast enough and when I got there it turned out to be for something my wife ordered from Amazon. Doh!

Envision me looking to the sky and shaking fists (a la J.T. Kirk) and screaming, "WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFFFFFEEE"

It will not take that long, Sprint stated it will be to you by 24th and it will! The update on your status is the least of their priority and shipping it is! The have to amp up more man power to deliver this phone (People at UPS will do a lot of overtime!). We must exude patients!;)

mms1946 was referring to a Wirefly order so it will probably not arrive on the 24th...

LOL, I was (*cough*) I mean I AM, ok honestly this whole wait thing has me suspicious of anything lately, at least when it comes to phone stuff. I've been reading so much garbage I just don't believe anything anymore.

Thought all (most) of the EVO's were locked up in Kentucky.
