Good & EVO said they have a big announcment to announce on May 29th. I bet it's the release date and I bet it's June 1st which is a Friday I believe.
Yeah I'm starting to think June 1st as well.

Im not sure whats going on but am i still the only one with no tracking number. Still Sprint wont tell me any thing about it, im about to walk in the store and tell them i want so kind of refund! They said on or around May 24 and they still dont have even a tracking number meaning its not going to ship till tuesday so with their two day shipping i wont get it till the end of next week! Any one else not have any shipping info that pre-ordered from a Sprint store...?
You get a tracking number from ordering online.
So far as I know, no one buying from a Sprint store, anywhere, has gotten their phone yet.
If you ordered from a store and they're talking tracking numbers, I think that they're trying to buffalo you.
I went in to the sprint store and i said i wanted it sent to my house... The reason i had to go in the store is because someone opened a Sprint number in my name in 2007 (I didnt know this till 2 weeks ago!) so after working out a deal with sprint since they did believe me the I didnt ring up a $1472.62 bill. I just had to pay a $100.00 deposit plus $199.99 for the phone.

I don't know what that store expected, but no store orders have been fulfilled anywhere in the country.
Having them place it for shipping to your home or not, you will have to wait until store releases.
Sorry.![]()
That kind of pisses me off that they didnt tell me this. I should have just stayed with verizon till i had this phone in my hands... I have not had a cellphone since May 10 because that was my last bill from verizon!
EarlyMon said:Inside Sprint Now, like s4gru.com, is one of our front-line sources for real information about this whole situation.
The public outcry was so great this past week that Android Central forums and XDA were locking threads over it (as I was told, apologies if in any inaccurate) and after that the traffic flood brought AndroidForums.com to a crawl (and we have nearly a million register members) when people turned to us.
Do people on DWLs (device waiting lists) have cause for complaint?
Personally, I think so. This is the fallout from a patent system that allowed a patent on the "bread freshing system" for making toast at high temperature - and allowed a patent application that Apple made in 1996 to be granted in 1999 after the patent standards changed in the dot com day to allow nonsense patents to be granted defying common sense (speaking as a hardware and software patent holder before that nonsense and intimately familiar with the old and new processes and standards).
HTC set resonable expections for inspection based on a long history of import/export experience in the face of an insane court ruling. Customs set reasonable expectations based on their backlog and knowledge base (these guys catch druggies and do us well, ok?) and Sprint set reasonable expectations based on what they knew as the end-point in the supply chain and having seen most everything already.
And based on that, consumers set reasonable expectations for their phone deliveries.
So - do consumers have reasonable cause for complaint?
I think so.
But where do the complaints go?
Sprint? I think they were following what they were told to expect.
HTC? I think they were following reasonable expectations - they had the patent-violating fix in updates and on other phones already.
Customs? I think they have bigger fish to fry than a phone.
Apple? I say yes. While others say it's not their fault for exploiting a broken patent system and we ought blame the government (and by extension - us voters), I will always blame the party that does wrong morally with a legal loophole that removes morality.
That all said - I am often wrong, and I don't mean that in any pithy or cute way. All of that is simply my opinion of where we all stand and what I think of who's to blame.
If it helps any, I don't have my phone yet and I simply tell myself that as long as it's before June 10th, maybe it's all good.
It's not much, but it is what it is.![]()

yeah it looks cool with the menu on screen i just dont know how im gonna deal with the search i am the same way i used it all the time... If i had something pop into my head i would just google it for the hell of it... since you have the phone can you see if you can set one of the 4 lock screen apps to the google search? That would be a fix for me!
While I wasn't a heavy user of the search button, I did miss the menu button when I first got my GNex on ICS. After about a week, you'll be loving the task switcher and will have forgotten about the two lost buttons.
Oh, and that was one of the first mods to come out for us was customizable soft keys. I'm not sure if the buttons on our devices are set up this way (I couldn't tell from the specs and honestly haven't read every thread here). If they are, you will see some cools 3 & 4 button mods shortly, colors, reflections, etc.
