Help ***Official*** Status of your Droid X order thread

I hope you meant free shipping on the 32GB card.. I already missed out using the SMART30 code in my rush to order the DX at 1:00 AM this morning... if I missed this too, i'll be really pissed..
 
Wahoo! Mine's officially in transit!! Maybe it will reach my area tomorrow and get delivered, even though I have 2-day shipping. Well, I can hope, anyway...

At around noon eastern they went on sale for $50.00 and two friends ordered their droid x and cards and it applied the 10% discount to everything. When I tried to order it, it wanted to charge 149 so i called and for the next 3 hours worked my way through the maze of no help customer care till i found one they ordered it for 99.99 with two day and then applied a 50 credit towards it. they would not apply accessory discount i get to it. So i called back later and the next rep applied another 49.99 for all my trouble with order process, so except for tax it will be free.

Yes, you can pick-it up at your local delivery hub once at least ONE DELIVERY ATTEMPT has been made on the address you indicated.

I believe they will re-attempt delivery at least twice before sending it back. You can also call up your local delivery hub and ask them to hold the package for you. You will just need to show up, give them your id, sign for the package, and be on your merry way with some X goodness :)

Same message for me. I am guessing it left the warehouse and went to the sorting location or the Airport/location to get onto a flight/Truck to get it to you by 3 PM or b4 tomorrow.

Oh ok thank god it's not just me! I thought something was wrong....usually it's in charlotte NC overnight and then its on truck to mooresville by early morning. Let's hope everything works out.
 
At first glance it's strange, but I've seen this with orders I've placed before. I know Memphis houses Verizon's largest warehouse, and because of its size I'm sure orders go through several channels before they actually "ship"

If you look at the times, there is only an hour in which three processes occur. I wouldn't worry, especially considering it doesn't have to go far to you. I on the other hand had my order ship from CA, and I'm in VA...

If it arrives at the station this morning, but doesn't go out for delivery, it is put in a container with all the other Monday shipments. Depending on the size of the station, it may be easy or hard for them to get to individual shipments. Call 1-800-GOFEDEX and ask if you can pick it up. If CS says no, you might as to speak to the station directly.
 
Ordered yesterday just after 5am w/VZN CS, (this was a replacement for my Dinc that had no signal) received an order number around lunch time, called CS last night to get a tracking # and was told estimated to ship July 23rd :mad:
I am about to give up on VZN my order process started with an order on 6/7 for a Dinc and close to a month and a half later I still don't have a new phone or service w/VZN :rolleyes:

Ordered by phone ~ 6:15 am eastern 7/15, no evidence all day, called VZW a couple of times, then shipping notice and tracking # about 6:00 pm shipping from Memphis (I'm in Philly), arrived in Phila. this morning, and should be here by 3 pm. I ordered a case separately and got shipping on that pretty quickly
 
Memphis shipment origin folks-- left there at 3a.m., now in Raleigh about to hit the truck for delivery today before 3. (Usually, FedEx hits my door around 11a. It'll be fun to see if that holds today...)

BTW, someone mentioned a Gizmodo review. Suggestion: don't read a dang thing til YOU have it in hand and have checked it out YOURSELF. Then draw your own conclusions re whether or not it's a keeper. 30 days is enough time to reach a final decision based on personal use.

I got the same start to an email this morning, but mine has a tracking number and activation instructions afterwards.

So :( I'd definitely call up Verizon and see what's going on with your phone.
 
I'm really unhappy. I ordered through my company's link to VZW (to get my corporate discount, etc.) 24 hours agoa and got the confirmation email. During the order process (and the email confirmation itself) it says 'free overnight shipping'. 24 hours later I still don't have any shipping information via email and the web order status still says (puke)...'in process, check back tomorrow. :mad:

I called CSR twice and they said it 'processed'. My card has been charged. What are the odds it really arrives today? Anyone know and in particular, are these kinds of corp. discount linked (though it was through an actual VZW website and not a 3rd party's) site order somehow handled differently? Again, the order was place at 6:30 AM Thur.

Any help here welcomed!!

I am officially pissed. Not only did I order my phone at 315 est, but customer service can't even locate the status of my order even though I have an order number. I ordered overnight shipping as well and still have yet receive a email with my tracking info....this really sucks. If thIs phone does not arrive today, so long vzw.
