Official Twitter App - Refreshing Tweets Question

So I posted in the apps forum, but I didn't get any feedback.

I'm posting this here b/c I'm hoping somebody has a similar problem since we have the same phone.


Here it is:

Before the recent update, the tweets wouldn't refresh/load to the latest tweet when I opened up a list. Basically, it would open up to the last tweet I saw. Whether it was 3 hours ago or 3 days ago, it remembered my position in the timeline.

But now, it refreshes/loads to the latest tweet. Which I absolutely hate! Now I have to scroll all the way down and remember the last tweet I saw.

I went to settings, but I don't see any options that relates to refreshing tweets. There is a sync interval settings, but I'm not sure what that deals with.

Can somebody please help?
