Officially saying good bye to Rezound

I want to thank all the members that helped to try to get my Rezound working to my satisfaction. :)

I found a buyer and was honest with him about the browser issues. He didn't seem to care! I'm loosing my *ss on this phone, but I am very specific for my needs and a perfectionist.

Selling it to the tune of only 240 dollars. The guy is getting the headphones with it, two extended batteries with backing plates plus the original battery and back plate. Plus a stand alone desktop charger!

I cringed being honest with him about the issues, but I could never screw over another smartphone enthusiast! This is why I make a terrible salesman, I wouldn't lie to someone just to make a sale, I wouldn't want it done to me. :)

Once again, thanks for tue help. :)

Now, off to get a new bionic to replace my scratched one! And this time I'm getting an otter box! :D

Sounds like it def has something to do with the 4g. I also use Dolphin HD and no problems at all so far. No problems with the stock browser either. I've used them on 4 and 3g and wifi..knock on wood no issues. Good luck tho man!

How odd to get rid of a phone due to Dolphin not working the way you want. No one else had complained but there's a first for everything. And you took a bath on it since you didn't return it within the two week window. It took me about six days to ditch the Gnex. Lol.

I was having trouble with all of the browsers including the stock one. The rom I put on it helped tremendously! But I'm a perfectionist when it comes to these devices.

It seems to be luck of the draw when buying any device. That's why I say if you get one that does as advertised and are happy with it, baby it and keep it till it dies of old age. :)

I love my new phone and have no intentions of buying another for a couple of years or beyond. :)

If my droid x was a 4g phone, I wouldn't have bought another. I just wanted to take advantage of the 4g network. :D

Oh, and "Obviously" I would have taken it back in the two week window, I wasn't having the issues with it then. That's why I rooted my bionic, this thing ain't getting any updates! lol It works fine just the way it is. :D

What didn't you like about the GNex? Just curious. Oh, beta 6 is out btw ;)

The only way I knew about beta five was because beta 4 stopped working.

Anyway you asked about Gnex......poor signal on 3g and 4g, later verified through DBM measurements compared with other 3g and 4g devices. Massive battery drain because of the poor signal. It was a no brainer for me.

I gladly would have kept it were it not for that. The Rezound is a signal sponge....it's always on 4g when it's not on wifi. Anyway I hope it gets resolved for you.
