1- Why not use the Volume keys is beyond me....
2- Battery life.... I cant say that battery life is good, because Ive never been able to get an accurate reading since Im always using my EVO (whos fault is that?)
3- Finally, a real flaw I see is WIFI connectivity.
Whoa, I've been using Power Control Plus (widgets) to put more icons both Power ones and applications on the screen, but this Multicon one seems nicer since it allows more icons (no pun intended) on the screen.I hate the Evo because the screen is big enough to use Multicon effectively - 448 icon capacity on Sense! DAMN YOU, EVO! I can now put every program onto the homescreens and leave the app drawer alone!

And the 448 is just with the standard 1 to 4 setting over 7 screens! It looks like that could be ramped up further... who knows just how many it could actually fit onto one screen?Whoa, I've been using Power Control Plus (widgets) to put more icons both Power ones and applications on the screen, but this Multicon one seems nicer since it allows more icons (no pun intended) on the screen.
Damn you EVO for making me have to redo my screens again and place more icons.![]()
I hate my Evo because at work I can I go to TvMov.com and watch live TV using flash while my Evo is propped up by its awesome kickstand... which I hate so much

So.....you were able to find one I take it
PS this thing is pretty awesome! I may not actually root it. And I hate it because of that.
Yea I got it last Friday, its been amazing ever since. Want to ask you how battery life has been for you though? Still kind of trying to find a way to make it better. Been following all the tips and tweaks, none seem to significantly increase battery juice. And I already uninstalled JuiceDefender. Even though it claimed it was saving me x1.61 battery life, didn't see the different really.
First off, I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules by posting this:
http://www.goodandevo.net/2010/05/20-tips-to-improve-htc-evo-4g-battery-life.html
I tinkered around with these settings a bit (pretty much following most of them closely). Today was the first full day of running it with these settings (i also calibrated the battery per the link on that page) and I'm on 11 hours sitting at over 60% battery. VERY HAPPY!!
Ok I did see that tip article but I want to know what you disabled to get the great battery life that your getting. A big tip that was given in the article was turning off background data and auto sync. I know these take a lot of juice but with me having and using my gmail and other social networking sending I can't are myself turning off these features. So did you disable them?

He's probably jealous that you like yours so much so he hates your evo and by default hates all evos.I hate my Evo because it is mine. No other "REPLACEMENT" will ever feel the same..... went ice skating and I was afraid to fall and smash my phone even though I have insurance. Lol.
I hate this phone is my sub conscious. My altar ego. My mini me!
I hate that I don't understand why my boyfriend wants to get rid of his evo....
I hate it because ever since the first when I got mine I have neglected my live in gf. She even the other night stripped totally naked and was at the foot of the bed and still did not put down my evo.
hahahahaCrew...you have issues, serious, serious issues...
What the heck made you even think about her over the EVO, even for a second?hahahaha
I'm sorry I cheated on my EVO last night........hahaha
