Help Often get the error "Unable to Find Your Sim Card"

This is getting annoying... About every day or so, I'm getting the error "Unable to Detect Your Sim Card" and I'm forced to either shut down or restart my phone.

I think it might be because the Sim card is SLIGHTLY coming loose from it's housing. Anyone else having this problem?

no i havent gotten that error and havent read about anyone else getting it. you should try a new sim. an ATT store will probably give you a free one. they gave me a free one when i needed a new sim for my captivate (had to keep resetting phone to get texts and internet to work, new sim seemed to have fixed that)

My store gave me a new sim for 2 phones one day. I was having reception issues with the iPhone and they said they'd swap the sims to see if it would help. The rep did tell me that some stores will want 25 for a sim, but that never even came up when I went into the store.

Yes, they'll provide you with a replacement SIM card. If there is one thing the carriers/stores want it is for their customers to be connected and using data. ;)

Any follow up on this? I have started to experience this as well. I have to pull the cover and re-seat the card. I'm going to the att store today in hopes to get it resolved. Just wondering if they gave you a new card or did you get a new phone?

same thing happens to me. sim card comes slightly loose and i need to take the bottom case off and push it back in every 1 or 2 days and restart the phone. is it the sim or the phone thats causing the problem?
