Help OG EVO going to daughter - best way to clean it up?

I am going to give my old EVO 4G to my daughter as soon as I am sure I have everything off of it that I need. What is the best way to clean it up for her as far as all the Apps that I have that she won't use or need? And cleaning up accounts that I have configured there. Should I do a factory reset?

I would factory reset. Then just reload back the stuff she would use. I did a factory reset in case I sell mine(might keep it in case I need a phone). It resets everything and puts it back to day 1(even shows Market instead of play). Then just do all the updates again.

Doing a factory reset will wipe the data partition where all of your apps and account information is stored.

Wiping it will reset the phone, but any OTA updates will still be applied.

When I had to get my phone replaced last year, I just did a factory reset on it before taking it in to Sprint. Worked just fine.
