Help oh no! help!? phone wont turn on!

it was just sitting on the desk and it vibrated a bunch of times and so I went to look at it and it was like dead, so I tried to plug it in and all it does is vibrate like 7-8 quick times and that's it. It's not rooted.. well I did the temporary root to enable sideloading of apps.. what is going on!?!??!? please help me !!!!!

so I was googling about it and I saw somewhere that holding the volume button down and pressing power at the same time might do something. It's not doing anything, in fact the phone wont stop vibrating across the room now. random number of vibrations each time, 2, 3, 5, 8 .... it's really going crazy!!!!

Pull the battery for 30 seconds, put it back in and try again.

I troubleshooted with HTC over the phone, that didn't work, so I went to AT&T and they replaced it.. UGH. I hate starting over
