Oh sheet - I'm bricked. HELP!

I rooted my S2 last week. Everything was fine, I hadn't put any new roms on it yet. All I downloaded was the GL to SD app for moving Gameloft games. I turned the phone off to change to my spare battery this afternoon and now it won't turn back on - it's just a black screen.

If I plug in the charger the screen alternates between the empty battery image followed by the full battery image then back to black screen. It continues in this loop, showing each for around 5 seconds each. I can access the download screen by pressing the 3 button combination. I therefore flashed again using Odin which passed and I seen the screen with the yellow warning triangle for a few seconds before going back into the loop with battery image again.

I have ordered a jig but given the fact that I can access the download screen and the flash didn't fix the problem is this going to make a difference? Gutted!

I have a backup but what good is it if I can't the phone to turn on even after reflashing? The phone was working fine for a whole week after I rooted though? Think I'm going to send it back to Vodafone and hope they replace it!

Why dont you put it into cwm recovery mode and restore the back up?

Couldn't get in to recovery mode. But took out the sd card and it worked! Phew and thanks to all for replying. Have any of you had any success moving gameloft games to the external sd card? I've used the GL to SD application but the extra data keeps downloading to the internal memory. Also tried to restore modern combat 3 using titanium back up but lost my game progress?

Thanks again

Edit: I cracked it. The mount/unmount thing confused me in the GL to SD app. For anyone experiencing similar problems, once you have moved your games you must press mount otherwise when you open the games from the app drawer or home page it will look to download the data again. Alternatively if you open the game from the GL to SD app this will also work. For Asphalt 6 I could only open it from inside the GL to SD app to get it to work.

Thanks again ironass for the SD card removal suggestion. Do you know what would have caused this to happen or why removing the SD card fixed the problem?

Pass!

The only thing that you can be sure of is that something on the SD card does not agree with the phone. In all probability, it would seem connected with your movement of games and data. More than that I cannot say.

Any ideas anyone!

Yeah it think you're right. I ended up with duplicate folders for some of the games on both the internal and external sd's...

I'm guessing that that would confuse the hell out of the phone at boot-up!

Give it awhile and someone more knowledgeable on on GL and moving files, may have an answer.
