Is there anyway to change the ringer for text messages without rooting?

Also

I want to side load with my Mac. Anyone know how? I tried side load wonder machine for Linux and Mac but when I open it, it just opens a window of a bunch of text.....

This thread is not about GPS nor is it bashing Samsung therefore it should not have been posted.

Seriously though..isn't it just in the settings when you open the messaging app? I use handcent so I haven't played around with the default much, but I just opened it up and it appears to be in there.
No idea about the mac though.

yes just go to the option in the messaging app you can set ringtones to everything that make a sound in the phone

OK. Got the ringer down. I feel dumb. But I can't get the side loading down.
