Help Ok google not detecting voice

I'm trying to setup to have the "ok google" on all apps, it's under settings, language and input, voice search. I've selected ok google detection, then checkmark the box from any screen, it wants me to say "ok google" 3 times, but it never recognizes my voice.

I can click the microphone from the homepage and it will detect my voice there to do searches just not sure why it won't with setting it up for using it on any screen.

The problem is I can't set it up to detect my voice. In the setup it says to say ok google 3x to recognize your voice, but it won't even recognize it to set it up.

That didn't work either. I've also noticed that on the main google now screen I have to say ok google to start a search. On my other phone I didn't have to do that, it was already listening for ok google, no need to click anything. I've reset the entire phone and started over and still the same issue.

if you can get it to recognize your voice you can set it to always listen for OK Google.. I assume you're in a quiet place when you're trying to set this up?

Ok I found the fix. You have to extract the lib files from the google search apk and put them in /system/lib. You have to be rooted to do it. Now it's working.
