The best ROM to use is really up to personal preference. The all-things-root guide has a nice list from which to choose. The links lead to other forum posts that really serve as reviews on the ROMs. Read them! Most folks have no problem posting their opinions (good or bad)!

As for the radios. It's my understanding (and I can be wrong here, a more experienced member may have a better answer) that all the ROMs in that list will work with the newest stock radios.

In regards to the wrong forum, I'm sure a moderator will move this thread if it needs such a move :)
