Name for 7.0, Nougat. What a silly thing to call it. There has to be better N desserts/sweets names, there just has to be! I really didn't follow what all was being suggested to Google but really, that just can't have been the best offering.
 
Nutter Butter? Nutella? Neapolitan Ice Cream? I mean there really are not THAT many "N" options, that I can think of. And I do love candy bars with Nougat. I don't know, in the end does it matter? If the OS is sound and all works well I don't care if they call it Nancy... ;)

But if you revolt, count me in your ranks, I will go to war in your name any day of the week. I got your back!

Nerds is actually quite brilliant. But, there probably is some kind of copy right hoops to jump through. Android names have been rather generic. As mentioned there really isn't a whole lot to work with in the N category. Maybe Napoleon?
 
I'm not saying it is impossible, nor am I saying a majority vote of the Umpa Lumpas pass on this golden ticket. Just saying that there as to be some kind of agreement between the two parties, whereas no such agreement is necessary to go with generic name that can't be claimed by any specific entity.

Other than KitKat they have not used brands as names. Nutella, nerds, etcetera are good but they are all brands. Traditionally, they use a generic sweet. I don't have a problem with nougat, I thinks it's funny to watch the uproar though. If the final release is as solid as marshmallow has been, I'm good with whatever they call it.

If there are no sweets that have the name "Nooblets" - then the human race is just doomed :/

I would make a brand of sweets called "NOOBLETS" :D

Or I would make a brand of sweets called

"NAPALM PALMS"

or something like that... basiclly they would palms that are sweets but have fiery fake sweet flames coming off them like that...

Or I would make a brand of sweets called "NUKERS" - only the bravest of people would eat it because of such a dangerously high amount of extremely concentrated sugar that even the box / packaging would say "we take no responsibility if you kill yourself when you eat this shit" or something like that...

I think Nukers would be the greatest name for a sweet ever... and the slogan would be "DIABETES HERE I COME!!!!!"
