Root Ok...I'm really bricked now!!!

I've had the worst time getting .901 loaded and rooted.

The phone would hang, it wouldn't root.

So I decided to boot in recovery and format the data and cache partitions. Not sure if this was a good idea or not.

So now I'm totally dead. I'm in the Fastboot flash screen and that's all I get when rebooting.

I'm searching and searching this forum on how to get backup and running, but I stuck.

Can anyone help on this?

I tried RSDlite and it's failing. I'm read, but not sure what I should be looking at.

Any thoughts?
 
I just tried that and after downloading the "flashme.zip" file twice. RSdlite cannot unzip it. Give me unzip failed.

Any other ideas. I'm really screwed here.

No idea what to do now.

So I was up until I did the OTA update for 893. Now I'm stuck in Fastboot with these errors:

Invalid CDT

Invalid CG version (CC:cdt)


Any thoughts on this.
 
Did you follow the instructions and flash the cdt.bin file. That will get you going again

So what happened ? Your other thread said you were looking for rom's based on. 901
 
Why would I need to the cdt.bin for .901? I was loading the OTA 893 from Verizon. That's when it went south.

The phone was up and running on 886, I got the OTA update to 893. So I figured I woulkd load it and stay on that version for now. During the install the phone crashed and only goes the the fastboot screen, and I get this on the screen:

Invalid CDT

Invalid CG version (CC:cdt)


The method from this site: Unbrick Your Bionic Here - RootzWiki isn't working anymore. I get a flashed failed immediately.
 
Also, since I was back to stock and loading the verizon OTA push, I called them and they are sending me a new phone. He said their update killed the phone.

At least try that I can almost guarantee it will work.
 
mmmm, I was just reading that myself. The battery is too low to work at the moment, so I need to let it charge.

I'll give it a shot, if it does fail or the are other problems, at least there is a new phone on the way. :)

whats odd is that I had this plug into the ac adapter to charge for 30mins, and it still says battery low, cannot program.

Does the battery not charge in fastboot mode?
 
It charged enough and i got the file copied over. It's back up and working.

I'll probably still take the phone verizon is sending since mine has a small crack at the top of the screen.

So, what procedure should I use now to go to .901?
