ok i'm having issues with the dailer code ##33284# "others/ hdr/1x selection evdo only mode" i'm having the network error 7 anytime i try to set it(worst was when the shev rom had issues and i almost lost the phone compeletly) and was wondering if anyone knew of a way to fix this. i would like to try this menu option. and if your want know what the network error 7 is like "no incoming calls at all and no out going text msgs(takes a few moments to get the error to pop up sending)" from what i had happen to me.

Try ##3282# it will pop the hidden menu for ya...

not what i was asking . i've used that and i'm not asking about the other code. i'm asking about the ##33284# menu other/hdr/1x evdo only. not meaning to sound rude

With Stock I never get any network errors. But with a few custom ROMs I do.

If you are wanting to set the radio to evdo only there is an other way. Star settings that comes in starscrom I used it on 2.3.6 just to see if it works and does.

I don't know of any where you can get just star settings apk but it is in the starscrom rom.

DL the rom and unzip it on the pc. your looking for interdpth.star.settings-1.apk.

transfer it to your sd and copy (not move) it to /data/app
