Ok now my noob questions. What will rooting do for me? Will i be able to safely remove stuff like NASCAR. AMAZONMP3,and other blotware? Will it speed up the phone or reduce battery usage?

there was a post about an app called titanium to freeze those unwanted apps. removing them might cause problems later on
