Root ok, now you got me addicted!

i just rooted yesterday for the first time with droid mod, overclocked for the first time, learned about nandroid and recovery files...

now i just cant stop thinking about different roms!

what are your favorite roms right now?
is there a place i can go look where there is a collective of roms?

alldroid.com has most rom developers. Pete's bugless beast is popular. Personally I just stick to droidmod.
 
Welcome to the insanity! All I can recommend is hang out in the forums and read, read, read. You will develop a taste for what you like and don't like. Give back to this community by sharing your experiences (BTW - don't forget to eat and sleep as this stuff gets pretty consuming).
 
I am the same way MarcMaiden. Alot of people have been saying that Sholes/Droidmod is bad in the fact that it doesn't help people help themselves, but it got me started and I am really enjoying learning the more advanced modifying that is out there.
 
I feel the same. i rooted and overclocked and rad so much into this whole processes and i cant get enough. I have SimplyStunning and overlocked to 900 and its super fast and stable. The potential is amazing!
 
Im a simple man. I just stick with DM 1.0. I like Steve's Kernel and the stability of the Rom. If I get board I push a new boot Img or mess with Metamorph.
 
How do you like it vs. BB 2.1? (I'm running .5 atm, but want to move to something else...I'm starting to see more and more FCs. At first it was great, but it seems to be degrading over time...)
 
well the biggest prob is the fc in the market, i haven't much else tested it. its fast, no over clock avail and still fast


EDIT: from what i am reading, its fixing things via patching them :)
