ok my phone has been working perfect til i tried to get into recovery yesterday.
it just will not get into there when going there from hboot it just sticks at the splash screen altho its been working perfectly .

do i have to download a ruu and basically re do my whole phone . im pretty happy with the way its set up .

if i do have to use ruu will i lose my oxygen hboot table etc and do that all over again ...

why would all of a sudden i not be able to get into recovery . i have tried flashing a new recovery via ROM manager but cant do it as you then have to go to recovery to install the update .. and i have tried unrevoked but it will not work as i have a cust gingerbread ROM and it says its to new ...

anyone got a solution where i dont have to start all over again

thanks

Ok so I had to read 5 lines of text to ascertain you're rooted. The rooting subforum would have been the perfect place for this.

ROM manager does not flash recovery. It uses fake flash and just puts update.zip on your sd card, which it boots into.

If you rooted via unrevoked, this will flash clockworkmod truely, rather than ROM manager fakely.

When you boot into recovery, you are doing this from off, then hold vol down + Power?

it wont boot into recovery either via vol down n power via hboot/bootlader or via long press power when screen on and choose recovery

ok mate . i will try that . i really dont see why one minute it works then the next it dont lol especially when i have not done anything to my phone since it last worked apart from make calls .. i will give it a go and get back to ya cheers
