Okay Google isn't working

Huawei are aware & looking into the issue, spoke with them earlier today.

Cheers,

Mark

Thanks for the update, Mark. I didn't realise just how many times I used OK Google until it stopped working.

I've not yet had a response from Huawei but it's nice to know someone has and that they are looking into it.

Something is obviously going on behind the scenes since the look of my Google Now leftmost home screen has changed in appearance overnight with no updates showing for my apps. See attached.

Notice the Google search bar is now shorter and the "upcoming" icon is now present. That wasn't there when I went to bed last night.

Yep, same here. Voice isn't working still and icons still greyed out.

Update!

I just had a little microphone icon notification requesting I retrain my voice. It asked me to do OK Google twice followed by Hey Google twice. I did it but OK Google still fails and the options are still greyed out with the unavailable in current language message.

Google and/or Huawei must be doing something behind the scenes...

Has anyone heard anything about what huawei or Google are doing to rectify the issues with ok google on mate 10 pro. Thanks

I have had a Twitter DM conversation with Huawei UK, this morning, and they have asked a few questions, which I have answered. No answer with regard to estimated fix date...

Hi all, I just got a Twitter DM from Huawei UK. They are not really committing to much and looks like a stock answer...

Are you all still trying to figure this out?, when Google haven't been able nor Huawei..well, I already figured it out and fixed it my self on my phone..you don't even need to be rooted..

I already said at the beginning of this threat..you have to uninstall Google updates and install an older version..unfortunately you won't find that on the play store..for me was worth the risk.

I had exact same issue before..
